Santa Cruz De Tenerife.

Acquaintance with Tenerife began with the capital of Santa Cruz De Tenerife. Together with the city of Las Palmas it is the capital of all the islands. Santa Cruz is located almost in the north.

For a long time we did not stay here. For two days we planned to visit the forests of Anaga - one of the main natural attractions of the island along with the Mask gorges and the Hell's canyon. These are the three most beautiful mountain landscapes on the island, designed by nature - volcanic eruptions.

On the way to this beautiful place we visited the famous beach Teresitas with white sand, brought, as they say, from the Sahara. Basically the beaches here are with black volcanic sand. What else is remarkable about the beach is that it has a beautiful viewpoint.

The road to the relic forests of Anaga runs through a rocky valley, the views are breathtaking, the road through the serpentine takes about half an hour.

The track itself in the forests of Anaga takes about three hours, if you go to the end in both directions.

In the city of Santa Cruz you can see the Plaza of Spain.

Nearby there is a botanical garden.
We also liked the Parque Municipal García Sanabria, very well maintained and quiet.

This is the largest city park on the island with a variety of plant species, fountains, shady avenues, arbors, sculptures.

Not far from the capital is the old town of La Laguna (San Cristobal de La Laguna). It is very pleasant to stroll through its narrow streets with colorful houses.

Here's a little excursion, I hope you enjoyed it.
