If a space represents recreational , educational as well as play a role of urban lung with historical impacts???Well well well... this kind of place exits...
This small place is situated in Ukraine; Kharkov area called "Arkhitektora Beketova". This area is basically Node point or Junction of streets situated infront of metro station but urban planners converted it into park with multifunctional activities.
A big round fountain has been placed on the center of total space and walk-ways are designed into radial direction.
Most intesresting things are Architectural Displays which are positioned around the Fountain. Each and every display also placed into radial direction.
Amazing Architectural Structures..
You can see how giant those glass boxes are.. They look precious isnt it?? Basically bases are made of with concrete and black tiles. All architectural structures are probably made of Raw white Marble block or may be white limestone because they were displayed inside the glass so i can't touch the materials; only visualized them. Each and every displayed architectural structure represents the most important buildings and churches of entire Kharkiv city.
By seeing this picture you can imagine how much big giant glass boxes are plus there are lights inside glass boxes including project details so at night they look amazing like daytime.
Basically is this picture you can see the structure of Cathedral of kharkiv and another one is the structure of The Mirror Stream.
The name of the Cathedral structure is The Assumption Cathedral and Alexander's Belfry.The Assumption cathedral built on 1777 and Alexander's Belfry 1844. The fountain "Zerkal'naya Struya" which is also known as The Mirror Stream is one of most outstanding , stunning architectural constructions in Kharkov. Currently it is under protection of UNESCO and one of the famous tourist spot in kharkov. For more details please check The Mirror Stream
This is the monument of outstanding Ukranian poet and writer,artist of Taras Shevchenko. This is one of symbols of Kharkiv and main attractions place for people. I will write about this attraction place later.
These two are the important structural building of Kharkov city. One is the Residential Building (2/2 konsititutsyi sq.)constructed on 1967 designed by "P. Arieshkin." Other one is State Industry House constucted on 1928 designed by the architects S. Kravets, S. Seraflmov , M. Felger.
Why this park is multifunctional?
This is park which plays a role of both recreational and historical importance. Also education for children. Many people come here to spend family time with children and show these structure towards children for general knowledge. Also it's a great place of spending quality time with friends and family plus many tourists come here to see this structures and came to know about History of Kharkiv city and get knowledge about place of attractions.
