On this day one year ago, @kennyskitchen created a container to support quality content creators on the Steemit platform that promote helping the Earth and humanity. He called this initiative @tribesteemup.
When I started posting actively on Steemit back in February, I immediately joined up with Kenny's project, and am extremely proud to still be an integral part of it today. I watched this project grow from its infancy, into the giant Goliath of a content supporter that it has become in less than one year's time. We now have the support of @adamkokesh, @jamesc, and many other notable Steemians that are worthy of recognition as powerful peaceful warriors.
I recently held a design contest to create a new @tribesteemup logo and the results were astonishing. There were several solid entries, and the top two designs in the contest (pictured above and below) are going to be used in a bigger collaborative art project @hempress and I are organizing. Many tribe members are also using these symbols, and I am currently holding a second design contest for an #anarchapulco logo. The winning designs from each contest will be combined into one collaborative project soon.
The people I have met and the utilities I have discovered through this tribe are priceless and irreplaceable. I am forever grateful and humbled to be a part of such a powerful group of star seeds.
It seems perfectly fitting that I chose to create the #introduceyourself post for the @emsteemians initiative, a project I created to support conscious Hip-Hop artists across the Steemit platform, on the same day that @tribesteemup was born. I hope that this project becomes even remotely as successful as @tribesteemup is now, and I am sure it will eventually.
Besides starting the groundwork for this new conscious Hip-Hop support container I have created, I also went downtown to the Portland Drum Circle and met with @ganjafarmer & @alchemage to prepare for ourDiscord Voice Chat Show on SteemSpeak tomorrow at 4pm. We will be promoting everything from our cannabis projects and my design contests, to my recently released FREE debut album (I will be playing tracks from the album during breaks) and my proposal for the @emsteemians project. We will also be featuring @alchemage on our show tomorrow to chime in on topics from Philosoforum, and offer opinions and support on other discussion topics we will be broadcasting. @alchemage will also be bringing a more scientific edge to our cannabis segment.
I also met up with my brother Corey at the circle, and was able to support his Compressed air Transportation project by picking up one of his awesome patches, depicting his awesome real life air powered bike he is always riding. I will do a more in depth article about his project in the future, and will also touch on it during the Team Speak Discord show tomorrow.
Expanding on Steemit farther than I ever have is how I honor @tribesteemup, and celebrate its day of birth. I am going in full force, and probably put in more work for the platform in the past two days, than I ever have before in a 48 hour period. I truly love this platform and desire to be here 100%. It is a lot of work that is totally worth it, Steemit brings me so much joy!
