Working at home has funny shenanigans sometimes like somehow timezones can still confuse me.
I have an irregular sleep pattern: I sleep when I want to or when I am sleepy. That means I can be awake at night or anytime in the day. And so earlier I realized on Eastern Time (ET) it was just 8am Tuesday. Whew, that's less than 12 more hours to go. š I guess I can sleep some more later.
OriginalWorks (OW) contests usually have deadlines during Tuesdays ET. Was rushing to write something some hours ago upon waking up when I thought I was too late to even submit something. Doesn't matter if it's going to be 7 Steem again or lower as long as it's Steem I'll take it. ššš My brain finally convinced me that it's better than nothing. Ah yes, beggars can't be choosers, or so they say.
Will probably make another acct to post my entries though. You won't be seeing it posted on here anymore as well as other topics. š
I think I'm gonna do semi-niche now. Haha.
Money Money Money update
As per request of @pinay I believe the reason I got 7 Steem on my last contest entry was because of the post layout. It wasn't mobile-friendly like my entry before it. š Well I thought they might only look at it on a computer so... š
The difference with writing contests here and writing on Bitlanders is they (OW) don't provide feedback on how to improve your posts. Of course, it is a competition after all so you learn as you make entries.
As for Bitlanders, got my $50 payout. Woohooo!
I think this is why I feel like writing again. š More money, more fun. Plus, I didn't write much for a week I think. š Rest is good. š
Airdrops Galore
Nope not gonna do airdrops/bounties unless I feel like it. I don't feel like chasing cryptos and don't think it's worth going crazy over all of them. I did join the Cure Cosplay Bounty (up to $80 worth) but I had to use an ERC-20 wallet. Not really a fan of ERC-20 wallets because it's more complicated but I already did it anyway. š
And then I did the third one without checking most of the details (because of @pinay. Hahaha.) As per checking afterwards, only the process of getting the airdrop is easy. Getting the tokens out of it though is probably not possible as per the terms. š
Byteball is actually the first airdrop I participated in due to the ease of getting and eventually converting the tokens. Plus it's a Steemit related bounty, meaning just by having a Steemit acct we get cryptos and money out of it. So easy to join and get $$$ too.
Aside from that, they have a partnership with World Community Grid (WCG) where you can donate your computing power during idle time. You also earn WCG tokens that shows up on your Byteball. (Haven't really bothered on checking how to convert that to other cryptos then fiat though. Haha.)
So if you have Byteball and want to donate your computing power to medical research on cancer, Zika, etc., instead of just mining for cryptos, feel free to join WCG too.
Life in General
The Christmas Palm Tree seeds are missing!!! Can't find the pack of 17 seeds. Huhu. Can't remember where I put it or if the cleaning lady threw it away last month. š„ Summady wants to buy it on Shopee but I can't find it. Sad lyf. š
In other news, I think the weather has finally improved. Might be able to go out in a few days because the storm has passed. Hurray!
And I am now sure the black and white tabby is now a mommy! Hahaha. Confirmed!
It was licking the kitten when I saw it this morning. Took me weeks to find out. I'm like... Whut?! š Knew it wasn't a tomcat even though my bro insisted. Now I'm 100% sure. Hahaha! But why just one kitten? I wonder if it didn't like its own orange and white kitten? š± That noisy malnourished kitten from weeks back. If I knew then I might have brought it to new mommy cat instead of ze mommy cat of all. Tsk.
Bad cats. They weren't feeding it at all and just kept watching/looking at it while it cried for milk. Tsk. Don't know where it is now so anyway...
These cats are not anyone's pets but cats hang around our apartment like they are everyone's pets. š They get fed by anyone so they just hang around here from time to time.
