Since the desktop computer of our neighbor acquired a stop error or better known as a "Blue Screen of Death," first thing that I have though of to fix it was to reformat the PC and install a fresh operating system. This error commonly occurs after a fatal system crash in which the operating system can no longer operate the way it should.
To start the installation, I used a flash drive to install a fresh operating system to the faulty desktop pc. I used an application named Rufus to make my flash drive bootable for Windows Installation.
Then the installing of the new operating system will automatically start after configuring some settings which are shown on the monitor. It is where you select the language, the time and currency format and the input method that will be implemented upon installing the new operating system.
As you can see in the photo, the installing of the new system has started, mostly from my experience, the installation usually takes place at around 15-30 minutes depending on the specifications that your computer has.
And finally, after the installation of the new operating system, I had installed the desktops' device drivers which will ensure the devices attached will work as it should, and after that, I installed the necessary applications which are useful for everyday use. Applications like office word, powerpoint excel and the like.
