Weekend Freewrite - Mar 2 2019 - Single Prompt Option Beacon

I want to be a beacon to lead people to change. This is my goal in weight loss coaching. But instead I am a shining example to envy. People tell me ALL THE TIME how inspired they are by my story.

Inspired to do what?

Nothing, most of the time.

I talked to someone today about the fear of change and how it paralyses us. Over and over again I see it. The feeling is:

I cannot take the big steps, so I will not do anything.

I was there.

I was there for most of my life.

I never thought I could ever, or would ever, lose weight and get healthy.

And then.

All of the sudden I did.

It only took eight months to lose 80 pounds after the first 45 came off slowly.

I tell people:

  • Eat less crap
  • Eat more nutrition
  • Get more rest
  • Exercise 10 minutes a day every day.

Just take those small steps to get started and I will help you continue.

But it is not good enough.

They say, "You look amazing in your before and after photos."

But they do not want to do what I did. They want to go keto, vegan. They want to intermittently fast or get surgery.

Anything is better than taking the bull by the horns and slowly working to improve.

And even if they do like my ideas, they are doing it tomorrow and they will get back to me.
