Part of the activities include an Art Exhibit by some of Cagayan de Oro's homegrown artists at Capitol University which I was not able to pay a visit. There was also an art exhibit at Xavier University Museo de Oro which I was also not able to pay a visit as well. I really had a very busy schedule. I think that can be observed on the frequency of my posts here.
Anyhow, I must admit I really missed a lot of stuff but hey, I would never feel bad though since I am in the process of shaping myself. I am going to be a facilitator of learning someday and I hope I would become very effective. Wish me all the luck and blessings.
One of the events though is something that I would never and had never missed -- and that is the display of ornamental plants at Gaston Park neat the Cathedral Church which was said to be the heart of the city before it was modernized. The following are the photos that I took and of my brother. I really wanted to make a wonderful presentation of it by adding some elements but I am using my other phone right now. No editing apps as of the moment. Yay!
My brother took this photo of mine while I was busy checking on how these giant swans were made.
My mom is also enjoyin every bit of it. Why don't we buy something like this, ma? But I do not think we still have a lot for this one though.
Check out some of the plants thats were displayed! You could see an array of cactus, succulents, air plants, hanging plants, and a lot more!
These orchids are just so lovely and a little bit expensive each piece!
These cacti are overwhelmingly cute. Would you want a piece of these babies?
Aside from the ornamental plants being sold, there are also agricultural products from towns of Cagayan de Oro City that are located in the hinterland. Products from other areas in Mindanao are being sold such as galons of fresh milk from Davao and hardwood furniture products from Surigao.
