
Good mooooorning - it's actually evening but let's pretend the day is just starting. :D
These clips were shot in the morning, right when I woke up so it's totally relevant and this is how my Tuesday morning looked like.
I like to have a routine in the morning, it just became part of my day but it does change from time to time. There was one period of time last year when it was on point, healthy and productive. Lately it was everything oposite from that. As I'm changing it up, I'm taking it easy and keeping it simple until I feel it suits me.
There's two things I did this morning that I would love to change:
- I woke up quite late so I would like to wake up earlier, while everyone else in the house is sleeping
- I spent 10-15 minutes on my phone as soon as I opened my eyes
One thing that really helps me get a better sleep is a sleeping mask that I'm wearing at the beginning of the video. It took me few nights to get used to it, but now it's an essential. When I got up, I made my bed, opened the blinds and window and scrolled my table (very convenient) so I can do a little bit of writing/journaling. I prepared my notebook, pen and a small bottle of water the night before so I have no excuse to skip it in the morning. Next I brushed my teeth and washed my face with cooold water, it wakes me up immediately!
Then I made some breakfast and coffee, changed from sleeping "gear" into comfy clothes, brushed my hair and went outside to eat and drink my black fuel. :D I finished my coffee inside while spending some time on Steemit. That's when my morning routine ends, I guess. I would eventually like to add some stretches and even a proper workout and maybe a short meditation. Maybe I'll do an update in another video.
