Every day I video chat with my grandson so that the time come when we actually meet, he will recognize me. My daughter makes sure we have a few minutes a day where we can really see each other face to face on video.
Problem is the time difference so when he awakens after his breakfast they call. But for me it is 12 midnight. Sometimes she call late at night her time even for a few minutes because Bay Rico does not want to sleep yet. So I am confidant that he will recognize me. I am glad mine is the daughter because she always has time for me. My son-in-law rarely calls his mom and when they video chat her face can't be seen. I guess she is not used to it.
Sharing some fun moment we had last night. I was just about to sleep when they called. We tested out the new animation on messenger. He was surprised and really interested on the changes.
Haha my first attempt I did not know it would be a fox I thought maybe the ears. He was surprised to see me talk.
Here we are trying the different flowers and sunglasses. His mom did not get a screen shot of him laughing hahah. He enjoyed but was very active moving around.
Here we are the hippies and gangsters. We were able to talk and see each other for about 30 mins because my daughter needed to sleep because she will be night duty again. Good thing her son sleeps with her. Her husband works morning.
So this is my bonding moments with my grandson. Sometimes I sing to him nursery rhymes and he laughs and loves it. Grandchildren are the only ones who love and enjoys a grandmother's singing even if out of tune. So thankful and grateful for times like these and for my family.
