I've just finished fast sketches for 1UP illustration contest. They needed a shroom mascot as I understood. But after I've done it the owner of contest make it clear that my style is not cartoon (really?), I didn't used their colors (but I've used actually as you can see) and they already have their mascot. They just need to redraw it. So it's rejected. But anyway I am glad to draw this and thank you so much for your support, guys!
References
Always use references. You never know how mushrooms may look like if you are not living in the forest of course. Even there you can not find all the different beautiful types of them together. Internet can help. These real mushrooms bring lots of inspiration for me. I like it's colors and shapes. They look like something from other planet.
