I often inform people of the perils and failures of vaccines.
Below is a typical reader response to an article I wrote: ➜ ...

Reader Comment:
"This is a picture of people in the iron lung,
from the Polio Epidemic in the 50s and 60s.
Could you imagine having something like this come back...?"

As you can see in the comment section of that article, my response was:
This is a picture of the modern "Iron Lung".
And it happened to this boy because of a vaccine.
Vaccines cause paralysis too.

And here is his story I put on Steemit:
HPV Vaccine Paralyzes Athletic 13-yr-old Colton of Utah

Also, most cases of polio only appeared like sniffles or a cold.
Vaccines actually contributed to Polio Paralysis.
It was called "Provocation Polio."

So What Is An Iron Lung?
No device is more associated with polio than the tank respirator, better known as the iron lung. Physicians who treated people in the acute, early stage of polio saw that many patients were unable to breathe when the virus’s action paralyzed muscle groups in the chest. Death was frequent at this stage, but those who survived usually recovered much or almost all of their former strength.
Nothing worked well in keeping people breathing until 1927, when Philip Drinker and Louis Agassiz Shaw at Harvard University devised a version of a tank respirator that could maintain respiration artificially until a person could breathe independently, usually after one or two weeks. The machine was powered by an electric motor with two vacuum cleaners. The pump changed the pressure inside a rectangular, airtight metal box, pulling air in and out of the lungs.

Wikipedia says:
Because of ... the development of MODERN VENTILATORS, and widespread use of TRACHEAL INTUBATION and TRACHEOTOMY, the iron lung has mostly disappeared from modern medicine.
In 1959, there were 1,200 people using tank respirators in the United States, but by 2004 there were only 39. By 2014, there were only 10 people left with an iron lung.

And this is the caption that should have been shown underneath the above image of the "Tank Farm."

Note that there were only 19 centers across the whole of the USA!
When old photos like the "Tank Farm" above are shown, people make the false assumption that these types of care units were in most cities across the USA. But with so few units existing, of course there were a large number of patients in each one.
The need for ventilators has not gone away, but the old cumbersome and bulky technology of Tank Respirators (Iron Lungs) has simply been upgraded and replaced.
As you can see on the slide above, paralytic conditions today that may require mechanical ventilation include Guillain Barre, ALS and Myasthenia Gravis. All of which can be caused by vaccines themselves!
...
Guillain-Barre Syndrome is a side-effect of most vaccines, especially the flu shot.
See My Article: Medical Ethics Professor in West Virginia shares his concerns surrounding VACCINE SAFETY and EFFICACY
They symptoms are not much different than polio. In fact, many of the cases labelled as polio were likely actually Guillain-Barre Syndrome.

Guillain-Barré Syndrome is the leading cause of nontraumatic acute paralysis in industrialized countries. About 30% of patients have respiratory failure requiring intensive care unit (ICU) admission and invasive mechanical ventilation.

The need for mechanical ventilators has not gone away.
So in conclusion, Polio Vaccination is not what got rid of the Iron Lung. New technology simply replaced it.
If there were only 19 centers or "farms" around the USA today that housed ventilator equipment and all those who needed them to stay alive, I imagine that the patients would vastly outnumber the days of polio, even adjusting for population growth.
