Facebook Page Review of SIR A-ONE
Facebook page of SIR A-ONE in sum portrays the multi-talented and creative personality, Goodnews Eruemuare Andrew whose aka is Sir A-One. He is a graduate of Linguistics from Delta State University (DELSU) who naturally found a few of his callings in several creative engagements such as writing, full-time blogging, comedy-making, singing and much more. He is the CEO of www.pengician.com and www.widestforum.com which are ones of the bests across countries in the continent of Africa today. He was one of the big brains who came together for the formation of Creative Writers' Association of Nigeria (CWAN) in 2013 which cut across the country and was from its inception till lately the President of the association. He is the one, who out of his ever effusive inventive sense, coined the term PENGICIAN. It is going viral on the net now as a synonymy for a 'creative mind'. [He studied Linguistics, but trust me do not dare him on his know-how about the world of internet in currency please].
This page, his page showcases sophisticated inventions with different choice of words always employed on the page for the sake of edutainment. As we'd all recollect, the sole purposes of mass-media, in which internet through social network such as Facebook is one of, are to inform, to educate and to entertain; these, SIR A-ONE page adequately contains.
If one is really looking for one of those Facebook pages these days where cute memes are being used to comment and react to the happenings basically in Africa about Africans and by an African whose contents would sound stupid, funky, orgasmic, funny, truthful, faithful, patriotic, passive, active, mean, cultural, social, asocial, political, apolitical, and the likes, SIR A-ONE is one of the best choice.
The content of the memes are not much to memorise nor many to bore. They are brief and beautiful constructions. The images of the memes are attractive for the beholder to appreciate and on it are much more details on Sir A-One and his sites. Details on that are to come. However, it should be noted that the contents on the page is not always formal, the page is much more filled and would always be filled with informal contexts but in all to communicate the realities around us all. Not only that, but also that it would be much more informative if SIR A-ONE page would try and stretch its contents to things that happen around other places on the globe which are of general interest as well.
More so, in order to make the information on the page much more organised and/ or reach more audiences, the hilarious lines and memes which are posted on the page are later published on his two sites and the links to them are posted back on the page. This is another interesting way of making the visiting audience not only to get to read the memes in their diverse categories and intents but also to make them go outside that to read other informative posts published on the websites. This is not common with other pages on the same Facebook in the sense that not every page which contains similar things on SIR A-ONE has an officially recognised and standard website to 'link' with the page. These facts as to the link shared on the page thus make the visiting audience to be opened to much more items of information, even outside the memes and all that are related on the page. I applauded this brilliant effort injected that way on the page, I must.
Another beautiful thing which I have so far seen not quite common with related pages on Facebook which I should commend the mind that runs the page for is that, most of the similar pages' owners tend to be anonymous. SIR A-ONE page which is ran by Sir A-One is not ran anonymously. The page shows things which are filled with concrete evidence, implying what he does could be verified for criticality. And this could only mean, he means what he is doing on the page having taken into consideration that it would be necessary that his identity is easily known. Hence, when others might be using icons, smilies, etc. as the images tagged along their posts on the page, he would his face, his hands, his back, his side, his phone, his head, his room, the route to his house, the path to his former home, the way to places he travels to, the things unusual he comes across but are facts and so forth to communicate his wonderful ideas as memes and the like (related). Remarkably outstanding.
Without direct inferences, the page is not filled with passive contents. In other words, the contents are not about what happens to others only or in our immediate society only, the contents contain things that even happen to the Sir A-One himself. Some of them would sound stupid but true, mean but true, direct but true, jovial but true, erotic but true, irritating but true, condemning but true, etc. But some receive more Likes, Comments and Reactions than the others. And that is technically and socially okay to me.
On the page, you'd be coming across things across other social networks as HOT as they are happening, directly informing those who have liked the page on the goings-on there. A good instance is.
"Atiku Abubakar Trending on Twitter with over 8,770 Tweets in the last hour."
This information was posted as it was going on Live not later. This shows that items of information related are posted on time not when it is actually a dead news. This portrays the Sir A-One again as a dogged and committed Facebook page owner who cares for the audience as to getting the info as at when due. And that indirectly makes the page a better one. To me I think he should be awarded somehow. But, trying to do that too much though might be at the detriment of the ready expectations of the page, as it would be as if advertising for the social sites on the page to cover up. Moderation should be put in place at all times I think.
More so, on the memes most importantly, as evaluated prior, some of them could sound orgasmically funny and true:
"Somewhere in Africa, a girl is screaming 'HARDER'."
Hope you got the gist too!
Another one could sound stupid but meaningful:
"A stupid person in the physical is called IDIOT while a numbskull on the internet is called EDIOT."
Hope you got the gist too!
This one is quite personal and a fact if you'd care, ask him.
"Those of you who block me and unfriend me are part of my motivation."
Hope you got this gist! That is most likely because his memes hit the nail on the head with those who are blocking and unfriending him. This shows the evidence is concrete that he morphs the facts and truths creatively into memes, lines, quotes, to educate and entertain on the page.
More over, the memes are made in such a way that they could be downloaded and save on any device. The colour, white, used for the background of the memes with the black and mixture of colour red as well on the memes make them very attractive. I love the arrangements of the information on them. The main message being enlarged than the rest helps to draw the attention of the audience to the main message. The other information right at its base, arranged creatively is okey-ed by me. And that hilarious skinned head of the Sir A-One himself to one side at the right base is quite conspicuous too. However, inconsistent use of arrangements of information noted on the previous month's memes when compared with the current one is not positive enough. As with last month's, they were watermarked with Sir A-One's funny caricature alongside other information, but currently, those have changed. It would be better if such are maintained I guess, they could make the memes much more demanding.
Immediately one gets to the page, for easy identification of Facebook page, SIR A-ONE, one would surely see the "About" right at the centre top with the required information "A Pengician and FULL-TIME Blogger" just below it immediately and as well below that lies the contact number of the Sir A-One, who runs the Facebook page and the number is +2348063562857. I like this idea as it would be easy for visitors who want to visit and/ or to Like/Follow the page be able to have the grasp of what the page is probably meant for and even put a call through to the owner for additional information, question, query, suggestion, condemnation, appreciation, finance, support and so forth.
All-encompassing, Facebook page, SIR A-ONE seems to be the best of its kind yet on Facebook currently receiving attentions from people across different regions of Nigeria and Africa at large. It has just been created for this purpose and it is gathering more and more attentions gradually. I suggest Facebook users to LIKE/FOLLOW this page and catch the funs too. Kudos to the brainchild behind the Facebook page, SIR A-ONE.
