This was inspired years ago when my mom and I walked around downtown Denver the day after my baby girl was born. There was a popular donut shop close to the hospital, with some of their donuts having fun toppings like Cap'n Crunch and what not. I enjoy occasional sugary snacks and Big Gulp sodas as much as anyone else, but even for me those 'premium' donuts felt a bit 'over the top'...
