I was reading @farm-mom's #wednesdaywalk post and hearing about @evileddy's 10,000 step day feeling sorry for myself. There will be no Wednesday walk for Zeke today as he is fighting off the plague brought home this week by one of the kids. I am proper paranoid double vaxxed and boosted so it is much like the run of the mill flu of years past. Meaning, I am napping like a champ and happily hibernating for a few days.
Not great photographic entertainment but I have a vibrant memory of #wednesdaywalk from the past year. That first image is from a couple nights ago in my small town.

This was a damp walk in the late autumn before a long winter. They are all long winters up here it seems but, in truth, it is really only maybe 3 months of real snow. Seems there are some colourful evenings to be shot on a walk around these parts.

Looking out at the disaster zone in the backyard after a long winter of neglect and dogs, I am not looking forward to cleaning it up but definitely long for #WednesdayWalk post in the garden for #gardenhive. We will have to figure out a solution to keep the new diggy mcdoggerson out of the raised beds but fresh veggies from the garden will happen again!

With the weather finally warming up, I am not missing my Mexican walks quite as much but am starting to see the advertisements for the next https://www.grapplersescape.com/ Last year it was the trip of a lifetime and this year my travel itinerary won't allow it. I will attend again next year and look forward to finally take some international Wednesday walks again.

For now, I am at least glad we are out of winter, hope to kick this bug soon and really get back to joining my friends on their #wednesdaywalk
Thanks for sharing yours for us shut-ins!
