There are many different celebrations this time of year, depending on one's religion, culture, or tradition. ...regardless of what you celebrate...

05. Sinterklaas (Dutch, Christianity)
06. St. Nicholas Day (Christianity)
08. Bodhi Day (Buddhist)
21. World Peace Day (secular)
21. Yalda (Mithraism)
21. Yule (Paganism, Wicca)
21. Winter Solstice (secular, Humanist, Pagan)
21. Pancha Ganapati begins (Hindu)
22. Hanukkah begins (Jewish)
23. Festivus (secular)
24. Christmas Eve (Christianity)
25. Christmas (Christianity)
26. Boxing Day (secular)
...and probably others I am failing to mention.
I give you #wintermas
It is a hashtag that I devised several years ago to encompass the general "feeling" of the holiday spirit at this time of year without pegging it to any particular religion, culture, or tradition.
I mentioned this hashtag last year and was thrilled when @shasta and others began using it, too! Everyone is welcome to join in the fun!
