Town Tree

I live outside of a small town. Each year, they erect a tree at the "town square" and one of the civic clubs decorates it. I have not driven past this year's tree to see what it looks like (because I have been sick lately), but found this photo from a few years ago on a flash-drive.

I've never seen a tree decorated in such a way, and always thought this one was very unique and especially pretty! There are alternating red-and-green bands of fabric flowers streaming down from the top of the tree to the bottom, and colorful balls hanging in the spaces between the bands.

Most trees are at their prettiest at night with all the lights lit, but this one looked fabulous both by day and night, as these two photos attest!
