Since last update, we are actively working on new changes for eSteem as well as working with growing team of eSteem, we have around 48 people joined translation team. And many languages being reviewed, translated, modified, being tested on app, etc... We hope to unify all app translations so that projects (steemit, busy, etc.) can move fast-forward, also taking initial steps towards that. From start, we have said that eSteem is community project and it is opensourced for that reason. We are happy to the fact that, community cares about eSteem and contributing with feedback, translation, feature requests, etc. Thank you!
eSteem translation - we have around 20+ languages being translated/ready with help of community. That's exciting and awesome to see many joining translation team and doing their share of contribution. Please join us if you want to contribute translation and add your name among many contributors.
eSteem mobile - application release with exciting changes and language addition is scheduled from the beginning of January, 2017. Before desktop release (see below), new version will have new features and improve synergy with initial desktop app.
eSteem desktop - as mentioned/committed here, initial release is scheduled in 5th January, 2017. We are really really excited about it. Desktop application is huge step forward and synergy between mobile and desktop app is very important one. Shortly after, we are also thinking to roll out web application as we grow, but that is bit later. :)
eSteem feature set - started esteem-features tag with series of posts, showing some features of eSteem that many people seem to miss. These posts will help in future to direct users to find full features set that are unique and mobile/desktop optimized. Checkout latest post here.
SteemAdvent - month long Advent calendar project officially concluded and we hope to continue this next year.
Witness - after hardfork, node is still running stable and smooth, block production is 100% for almost 3+ month now. From Jan 1, 2017, APR will be lowered to 4% as we have seen strong support for SBD for few weeks now. I think other parameters are ok. Edit: Forgot to mention that, I will reevaluate all my witness votes tomorrow 1st January, 2017.
2016 - was great year, especially last half of the year, project involvement, meeting wonderful people around the world, making new friends, collaborations, new projects, new ideas to explore...Birth of eSteem app, Steem Monitor mobile app, Steem Fest mobile app, multiple small but significant other projects being developed by me... What an amazing year! I am sure, 2017 will be even greater year. Will continue to deliver number of projects that will help platform to grow...
