I am publishing price feed manually (which I highly encourage), usually once per day. That shouldn't be a big deal if you are keeping an eye on Steem. Also, this simple ritual keeps you in touch with reality. On some rare occasions - like while being off the grid - I would temporarily use a script.
I am adjusting price feed to 8% ~~12%~~ 8% below observed market price, using explicitly quote instead of directly modifying base. Please note that steemd.com shows Feed value already adjusted by Bias printed next to it.
I have increased account_creation_fee to ~~40 STEEM~~ 50 STEEM which is currently worth ~ $5 - $6. I will opt to keep it in a range $5 - $10. Still, consensus is 10 STEEM which in my opinion (current STEEM price) is obsolete (comes from times when it was worth $10)
I have updated my witness SBD interest rate from 10% to 15% adopting smooth.witness idea (worth reading!)
