During Pimp Your Post Thursday on March 23rd, @ancapbarbie brought up the subject of witnesses and the importance of voting for them. As often happens during PYPT this topic quickly took off into a discussion about what witnesses are, their role, responsibilities, who they are, community expectations etc.

Hence this was the impetus for me to start a series entitled Witness Wednesdays. My intent is to give an introduction to each of my witnesses, their involvement in the STEEM community to include their initiatives, new and ongoing projects.
Special thanks go out to @thekittygirl for maintaining a list of all the witnesses that attended the forum listed on the image to the right this past Saturday(clicking on the image will provide more information about the status and performance of all witnesses). Jerry Banfield made an effort to attend, but was late for the broadcast and therefore is not included in the list. Thanks to him for taking time from his busy schedule to make the effort to be part of the forum, as well as all witnesses that took time out of their hectic schedules.
This week my featured witness is @Anarcho-Andrei
Ranked at Witness 89 of active witnesses. I met him early on after joining STEEM and becoming involved with the Veterans' Community. He is a law student, very active in the STEEM Veterans' Community (he is a military Veteran himself) and also supports the STEEM Romanian Community. As well as being a writer, he co-hosts a podcast with @swelker101 on the Writers Block Discord Server, State Of The Witness. You may view his latest podcast here:

Below are the avatars of all the witnesses that attended last Saturday's Witness Chat and Jerry Banfield who was late, but made an effort to attend.
Clicking on their avatar will take you to their blogs.
Better late than never.
Below is a wonderful article explaining the importance of witnesses and why it is important to use your vote.
