Happy Sunday Steemians!
Few days ago I came across THIS POST by @thekitchenfairy and I really enjoyed reading it (you should definitely check it out) and I also found out it was a part of the contest by the @princessmewmew! As a member of the #gratefulvibes family, as someone who posted a lot about gratitude and as someone who started practicing gratitude so it became like a habit for me at this point, I am more than excited to write this post.
Write a post listing ten good things in your life, or ten things or you are grateful for, or even ten things that make you happy, or a combination of these things.

1. Black magic fuel
Commonly known as
coffee... My joy, comfort and life saver! Okay, maybe I am exaggerating a little bit but coffee is a big part of my day, especially my morning routine and I just love it. It's not just about the beverage itself, it's about the entire coffee drinking ritual (I hope that doesn't sound creepy).
2. Dogs
I love animals and
dogs are my favorite! I was never scared of them, I could always approach any dog, no matter if it's someone's or a stray dog. It's been years and years since me and my family had a dog, mostly because none of my family members wants one which is sad. So I take every chance that I get to pet and play with dogs. My wish is to adopt a dog someday! :) They are just so lovely, friendly, loyal and beautiful!
3. Sunsets
Nature is incredible and beautiful in so many ways but
sunsets has to be my number one! I am lucky to have an amazing view of the sun setting from my front yard and garden, so this is where I like to go and enjoy the colors of the sky, calmness and pure beauty. Lately I haven't been doing this too much, to be honest, so this was a great reminder for me to go out there and appreciate the sunset views.
4. Being connected with myself and ditching limiting beliefs
I believe that we are so much more than our bodies, habits, jobs, society "rules" and media poisoning that are thrown at us on daily basis. There is so much love, joy, spirit, power, endless possibilities, purpose in each and every one of us but we are often disconnected from all of that and get caught up in life that we find "safe" or "accepted". To stay in touch with my inner self, try to spend time in nature, journal, meditate (still working on this one), get inspiration from few people online, read books, be grateful and stay away from negativity.
The only limits and boundaries are the ones we create for ourself but we also have the power to break them and be free!
5. Traveling
This is when I feel truly, deeply connected with who I am, people around me, places I go to, food I eat, everything and everyone around me.
It's when I feel alive, excited and happy. It's something that brings me so much joy, I can't even describe it. If I could do one thing only for the rest of my life, I would travel. I would go to all the places around the planet Earth, to every street and every corner, wander and explore and adventure.
6. Smoothies and smoothie bowls
I don't make them every day, but when I do - oh boy, they are so good! For me, they are the perfect breakfast option, a great way to kick start the day, easy to make yet super healthy. And they can look pretty good, that's why I love to take pictures right before I demolish them. This was probably
the best smoothie/smoothie bowl I ever made! Yes, I definitely need to get back to this deliciousness (I don't even know if this is a proper word but let's just roll with it).
7. Getting lost in a book or TV series
If I like the book or TV series, I get obsessed - literally. I could spend hours reading or even days watching the series.
I get so into the story and characters and I find this helpful if I'm going through a hard time or I feel sad. I forget about my own problems or worries for a while, it's like stepping out of my own life and then when the reality kicks in, I usually realize things are not that bad as they seem and I get a new perspective - kind of weird but it works.
8. Glasses
A lot of times it crossed my mind how lucky I am to live in an age where there are so many things created by people to help us live better, fulfilled life and to make things like bad vision easily fixed. I've been wearing glasses for 11-12 years and I am so grateful for them, I don't know how I would go about my life without them. Of course, there are also contact lenses and laser surgery, I might give those options a try even though the second one would be quite scary but for now I am happy nerd looking girl. :)
9. Minimalism
Ever since I discovered this way of living, I have been inspired by it. It all began as the physical aspect of getting rid of unnesessary things that does not serve me, bring me joy or have any purpose in my life. Then it branched to other aspects of my life - my morning routine, digital declutter, being more mindful, paying attention to people I am surrounding myself with... This way of thinking and living my life helped me a lot with anxiety as well. It's still work in progress and there's a lot of space for improvement but so far, I'm happy with how it goes.
10. Music festivals and concerts
A lot of wonderful memories are attached to these events. All the concerts I've been to and Exit festival (music festival in my city, Novi Sad) bring me smiles and joy when I remember them. I had a chance to see some of my favorite early teens, high school and adult life artists, one of them being Jennifer Lopez, that you can see on the picture. Also Shakira, Bruno Mars, Beyonce, John Newman, Stromae to name a few. I went to Exit festival this year but it's been a while since I went to a concert.
So that concludes my list of 10 things that I am grateful for, that I appreciate and that make my heart&soul happy! Of course, on top of everything comes family, friends and health but I just wanted to point out some things that are less general and maybe a little bit more personal, if that makes sense. Thank you @princessmewmew for this amazing contest, posts like this are some of my favorites to write and share. Putting together all these things and memories that make me happy filled me with so much gratitude and good energy, I can't even stop smiling. :) I invite you all to participate in this contest, not for the price but for good vibes!

All photos are mine, some of them are taken with iPhone 5 and some with Canon t5i
