I did a gig today made some paper. Didn’t take me long. Been hacking on Linux for so long thought I’d forgotten Windows. Well I crushed it and got paid. That money will spend in a minute and the hustle never sleeps.
I never take money for granted. I see money as convenience. I need it when I need it. This is the crux of money problems. When you need it and you don’t have it then things get evil. Sometimes you have stacks of cash and you never touch it. It’s just there dormant waiting to pay the cost of human desires. Thing is we always itching for something. Even when we sleep we spending in our dreams. Monks supposedly the least materially inclined among us, still don’t escape the problem of money. At the least they got their begging bowls.
I could use just enough money to live and die free. Money might not buy me happiness but freedom was always my first addiction. Yes I am a freedom junkie. No isms, no dogmas, bullshit and rhetoric of belonging to whatever. If your way is a cage then keep your distance. Don’t despair the sheep are plentiful. Enough money would certainly keep me free from the mundane reckoning. So I keep the hustle real everyday online and out there. Earlier today I rode two trains for that paper. Whatever it takes to be independent.
