I have great traveling experience to share with you. My friends and I went for 2 days in Dubrovnik on Saturday and Sunday :) ![](https://steemitimages.com/DQmbpGrcLRgBSb9c1bX99MpehquU2Fj2sMDGwdC9MWswG18/image.png) First day we came to the exact opening of the feast. Rainfall was raining while the mass lasted. There were few people but they quickly filled out. The walls are about 3 kilometers long and it takes an hour to surround them. Most of the sights are on the main street or square called Stradun that has the shape of the letter L. ![](https://steemitimages.com/DQmcUDwmwkLC6E5obmjn8kQdpgamSLeU5T199ZNVD4uuLVB/image.png) One of the most important buildings is the palace Sponza in which many documents, letters ... are included, including all the Balkan countries. also in books dubrovnik as the name was first mentioned in 1189. year. The palace was built in a mixed style of the Gothic and Renaissance. ![](https://steemitimages.com/DQmNVp7pVZ8KVpLDL2rNyMEFtS6SMCWrot7eJLB9RDFAu6h/image.png) Something about the cathedrala and church: it was demolished in a great earthquake in 1667, and 200 people were killed. while it was being renovated, the church of St. Blaise was used as a cathedral, but after 40 years the church was burned, so the Dubrovcians urgently needed a new cathedral and for its construction brought the sculptor Marina Gropelli.
