Hello, my dear fellow Praetorians. Let's talk a little about battles this time in the #communituchallenge.

The battle I want to share with you today is important to me. I've been fighting in the Frontier format for a few days now, and I've finally managed to move up a league. It took me a while, as I wasn't used to the cards in the Foundation set, and I hadn't spent much time learning how to use them in battle. When facing opponents who use the same cards and level, you rethink your approach to battle, getting used to a new dynamic in strategies. Now, I'll explain a little more about the battle in the following paragraphs.

And to protect my units, I would divert the target of attacks with a unit with the “Taunt” skill. My opponent used the Death element summoner, which reduces health points, along with a unit that had an ability with the same effect. Nim Guard Captain manages to withstand the magical attacks of my units, thanks to his “Void” ability, which reduces magical attack power. Nim Guard Captain is defeated after receiving attacks from three of my units. This victory allowed me to reach the Bronze II league.

The previous battle allows me to teach you the importance of good unit selection and training for battle. Battle rules have a wide variety of effects, but by understanding them and seeing how they interact with each other, you can gain a slight advantage over your opponent in battle. The “Blast” skill would have been used more effectively if you had units with the “Amplify” skill, which doubles the damage. A countermeasure for the “Blast” skill is to use units or summoners with the “Deflect” skill, which reduces damage to zero. --- --- I hope this battle helps you improve your own strategies a little.

La batalla que quiero compartirles el día de hoy, es impórtate para mí. Ya que llevo unos días luchando en el formato Frontier y por fin, tengo logro pasar de liga. Me costó un poco, no me había acostumbrado a las cartas del set Fundación, y no le había dedicado tampoco mucho tiempo a aprender bien de estas cartas en batalla. Al enfrentarme a oponentes que usan las mismas cartas y nivel, repiensas un poco la forma de luchar, acostumbrándote a una nueva dinámica en estrategias. Ahora bien, les explico un poco más de la batalla en los siguientes párrafos.

Y para proteger mis unidades, desviaría el objetivo de los ataques con una unidad con la habilidad "Provocar". Mi oponente usó al invocador del elemento Muerte, que disminuye los puntos de vida, junto a una unidad que poseía una habilidad con el mismo efecto. Mis unidades atacan con fuerza a la unidad "Taunt" del oponente, derrotándola rápidamente, seguido atacan a la unidad más débil Arcane, hasta derrotarla. Durante esta batalla, la única unidad que perdí, fue New Beluroc. Mis unidades llevan la delantera en el ataque, las unidades mágicas con más poder derrotan y debilitan (efecto de las explosiones) a cada unidad del oponente. El oponente ataca con Nim Guard Captain, debilitando un poco a Port Guardian, pero no lo derrota. Nim Guard Captain logra soportar los ataques mágicos de mis unidades, gracias a que posee la habilidad "Vacío" que reduce el poder de ataque mágico. Nim Guard Captain es derrotado después de recibir los ataques de tres de mis unidades. Esta victoria me permitió llegar a la liga Bronce II.

La anterior batalla me permite enseñarles, la importancia de una buena selección y formación de unidades para una batalla. Las reglas de batalla poseen una gran variedad de efectos, pero al entenderlas y ver cómo interaccionan entre sí, puedes sacarles un poco de ventaja al oponente en la batalla. Se hubiera empleado de mejor forma la habilidad "Explosión" si contara con unidades con la habilidad "Amplificar", la cual permite duplicar el daño. Una contramedida para la habilidad "Explosión" es usar unidades o invocadores que tengan la habilidad "Deflect" que reduce el daño a cero. --- --- Espero que esta batalla les sirva un poco para mejorar sus propias estrategias.
