Hablemos de Nuestros Abuelos [Versión En Español]

Muchos son los recuerdos que guardamos de nuestra niñez, buenos, malos, muchos alegres y algunos tristes, digamos que, nuestra niñez forma parte esencial de lo que hoy día somos como adultos, estas memorias de la niñez están acompañadas en su mayoría de uno o más abuelos, pues son ellos los que en infinitas oportunidades nos cuidaban mientras nuestros padres estaban trabajando, o porque necesitaban de alguien que nos cuidara durante alguna salida o reunión, en fin, son incontables las veces que los abuelos estuvieron allí presentes para muchos de nosotros, para dar un consejo, para prepararnos algún postre delicioso, para alcahuetear alguna travesura, o simplemente para darnos un abrazo y todo su cariño.

También es cierto que no todos los abuelos son amorosos y consentidores, también nos encontramos con abuelos cascarrabias y gruñones, esos que apenas nos veían entrando a una habitación de su casa pegaban un grito pidiéndonos que no les tocáramos algo en especial, y por lo general era eso lo que más deseábamos tocar e incluso jugar con ello. Tenemos también los abuelos a los que le éramos indiferentes, esos que les decían a nuestros padres que no contaran con ellos para que nos cuidaran cuando ellos deseaban salir o aun cuando tenían que trabajar, aquellos por los que tuvieron que dejarnos aun en contra de nuestra voluntad en alguna guardería.

Dicen que los abuelos aman más a los nietos que a sus hijos, y esto es una verdad a medias, el asunto radica en que, como padres, esos abuelos debían trabajar para sacar adelante a sus hijos, su tiempo era limitado para compartir con ellos, además de que la crianza de un hijo no es nada fácil, hay que tener mano dura en ocasiones para que los hijos den buenos resultados, ojo, cuando hablamos de mano dura, hablamos de ser estrictos en cuanto a la crianza y exigencia de resultados en el colegio, por ejemplo. Por otro lado, esos mismos padres como abuelos, en su mayoría, cuentan con el tiempo libre suficiente para compartir con sus nietos, con los que, además, son como quisieron ser realmente con sus hijos, pero las circunstancias de la vida no lo permitieron, es por ello que cuando como padres queremos reprender a un hijo, por lo general hay un abuelo detrás diciendo ¡A mi nieto no lo tratas así!
