Copper Coins is an anthology graphic novel by Charles Denton [Blue Flame] and Lars Kommienezuspadt [THEIA]. An homage to a bygone era of horror, Copper Coins exhumes the short psychological hauntings inspired by Tales From The Crypt, The Vault of Horror, The Haunt of Fear and other genre publications by EC Comics in the 1950’s.

Denton and Kommienezuspadt crossed paths in Minneapolis, 2011. Both twenty year aspiring writers and artists with a common bond of the dark and macabre, a collaboration between the two creatives was inevitable. Copper Coins in the culmination of that partnership and Fundition is the platform of choice to bring ghosts of pulp horror back to life.

In true anthology form, Copper Coins excerpts from the lives […and deaths] of the damned, narrated by Charon, The Ferryman of the River Styx. Stories that break the bounds of the human psyche. Tales that explore the darkest recesses of the heart and mind, and the consequences that lead us to our own mortality.

Copper Coins will publish short ash cans in perpetuity, compiling stories of horror until anthology volumes are collected in trade paperbacks and digital books.
