Greetings! Today I come to talk about the first horror movie I saw in the cinema, yes, I had never seen horror movies in theaters because it scared me, but a few days ago, I decided to take the boldness with my brothers and see The Nun 2, which was released recently. The movie is a sequel, which continues telling the story of sister Irene and Maurice, I don't really remember how the first movie went, but I remember that they had fought with the demon Valak, but they hadn't defeated him completely. It turns out that the said demon had possessed Maurice's body when he tried to save Sister Irene, so, in this second installment, the Valak demon continued to do his thing, killing in convents.

Hoy vengo a hablar de la primera película de terror que vi en el cine, si, nunca había visto películas de terror en cines porque me daba miedo, pero hace unos días, me decidí tomar el atrevimiento con mis hermanos y ver La monja 2, la cual estrenaron hace poco. La película es una secuela, la cual nos sigue contando la historia de la hermana Irene y Maurice, la verdad no recuerdo muy bien de cómo fue la primera película, pero recuerdo que habían luchado con el demonio valak, pero no lo habían derrotado del todo. Resulta que dicho demonio había poseído el cuerpo de Maurice cuando intento salvar a la hermana Irene, así que, en esta segunda entrega, el demonio valak siguió haciendo de las suyas, asesinando en conventos.

Due to the new deaths registered by the Vatican, a cardinal decides to call Sister Irene and ask her to defeat the demon that seems to be still alive, she refuses at first, but decides to agree and ventures to hunt the demon Valak with the help of Sister Debra. Meanwhile, the demon is still in the body of Maurice, who now works as a laborer in a boarding school for girls, where he befriends a teacher and her daughter, Kate and Sophie. Sister Irene, with her psychic abilities, tries to investigate a little about the whereabouts of Maurice and the demon, looking for what exactly the demon wants, so she manages to access Vatican records and realizes that the demon Valak is a fallen angel who seeks to return to heaven, and the only way to do it is looking for the eyes of a saint, which were torn out and were hidden by a father in the boarding school where Maurice is.

Debido a las nuevas muertes registradas por el Vaticano, un cardenal decide llamar a la hermana Irene y pedirle que derrote al demonio que parece seguir con vida, esta al principio se niega, pero decide acceder y se aventura a cazar al demonio valak junto con la ayuda de la hermana Debra. Mientras tanto, El demonio sigue en el cuerpo de Maurice, quien ahora trabaja como obrero en una escuela tipo internado para niñas, ahí se hace amigo de una profesora y su hija, Kate y Sophie. La hermana Irene, con sus capacidades psíquicas, intenta investigar un poco sobre el paradero de Maurice y el demonio, buscando que es lo que el demonio quiere exactamente, así que logra acceder a registros del vaticano y se da cuenta que el demonio valak es un ángel caído que busca regresar al cielo, y la única forma de hacerlo es buscando los ojos de una santa, a la cual se los arrancaron y fueron ocultados por un padre en la escuela internada donde está Maurice.

Irene and Sister Debra manage to get to the school to find the holy eyes before the demon, but he starts a fight to get there before them. The eyes of St. Cecilia were in an old school chapel. They manage to knock Maurice out and find the eyes, but he breaks free and starts chasing Sophie, the girl who tries to hide the eyes and help Irene. In the end, the demon manages to remove the eyes of the sisters, but Irene realizes that she herself is a descendant of St. Cecilia, so she manages to sanctify the wine that was around them, the wine becomes the blood of Christ and is poured over the demon, who is finally defeated.

Irene y La hermana Debra logran llegar a la escuela para encontrar los ojos santos antes que el demonio, pero este empieza una lucha para llegar antes que ellas. Los ojos de santa Cecilia estaban en una vieja capilla de la escuela. Logran noquear a Maurice y encontrar los ojos, pero este se libera y empieza a perseguir a Sophie, la niña que trata de esconder los ojos y ayudar a Irene. Al final, el demonio logra quitarle los ojos a las hermanas, pero Irene se da cuenta de que ella misma es descendiente de santa Cecilia, así que logra santificar el vino que se encontraba alrededor de ellos, el vino se convierte en sangre de cristo y es derramado encima del demonio, quien por fin es derrotado.

***My opinion:*** I thought the movie was pretty good, I don't know why but I got quite attached to the main characters, they seemed pretty sweet to me. The story seemed good too, especially for the characters, the actors knew how to put a lot of heart into their work. The movie didn't scare me that much, there were scenes in which I was scared, but I didn't panic the whole movie, I found it balanced in that aspect, it's a moderate horror and a good story. I give the movie an 8/10.

***Mi opinión:*** La película me pareció bastante buena, no se porque pero me encariñe bastante con los personajes protagónicos, me parecieron bastante dulces. La historia me pareció buena también, sobre todo por los personajes, los actores supieron ponerle bastante corazón a su trabajo. La película no me dio tanto miedo, hubieron escenas en las cuales si me asusté, pero no es que anduve toda la película en pánico, me pareció equilibrada en ese aspecto, es un terror moderado y una historia buena. yo le doy a la película un 8/10.
