**Greetings. Today was a day of effort and satisfaction. Early in the morning, we started the workday with determination, aware that the second day of intense work always weighs more.**

*Mis saludos. Hoy fue un día de esfuerzo y satisfacción. Desde temprano, iniciamos la jornada laboral con determinación, conscientes de que el segundo día de trabajo intenso siempre pesa más.*

**However, motivation drove us, we wanted to finish on time and see the fruit of our efforts reflected in our surroundings. The entire team, with commitment and dedication, focused from the first light of day to finish before two o'clock in the afternoon, when the sun reaches its strongest point. Everyone took on their task with dedication and, in the end, we achieved our goal. It was a moment of joy and well-deserved rest. We looked at each other with a mixture of tiredness and satisfaction; two days of hard work had led to a great achievement. My husband took the responsibility of driving the boys home, making sure each one returned safely. Meanwhile, I gathered some supplies and organized the final details before leaving. On the way back, my husband had an additional mission, to pick up my father, who wanted to see the result of our effort and share that moment with us. Upon arrival, my father observed every corner carefully, evaluating what we had achieved with effort and commitment, acknowledged the teamwork and expressed how satisfied he was to see a successfully completed project. I, although grateful, was already looking forward to rest at home, but my father had other plans. Knowing my exhaustion and my love for the sea, he decided that the best thing to do was to share a lunch by the shore to relax after so much effort. So it was that the three of us, my husband, my father and I, headed for the town of Juan Griego.**

*Sin embargo, la motivación nos impulsaba, queríamos terminar a tiempo y ver reflejado en nuestro entorno el fruto de nuestro esfuerzo. El equipo entero, con compromiso y entrega, se enfocó desde la primera luz del día para concluir antes de las dos de la tarde, cuando el sol alcanza su punto más fuerte. Cada uno asumió su tarea con dedicación y, al final, logramos el objetivo. Fue un momento de alegría y descanso merecido. Nos mirábamos unos a otros con una mezcla de cansancio y satisfacción, dos días de trabajo arduo nos habían conducido a un gran logro. Mi esposo tomó la responsabilidad de llevar a los muchachos a casa, asegurándose de que cada uno regresara sin inconvenientes. Mientras tanto, yo recogía algunos útiles y organizaba los detalles finales antes de partir. En el camino de regreso, mi esposo tenía una misión adicional, recoger a mi padre, quien deseaba ver el resultado de nuestro esfuerzo y compartir ese momento con nosotros. Al llegar, mi padre observó cada rincón con detenimiento, evaluando lo que habíamos logrado con esfuerzo y compromiso, reconoció el trabajo en equipo y expresó lo satisfecho que se sentía de ver un proyecto terminado con éxito. Yo, aunque agradecida, ya ansiaba el descanso en casa, pero mi padre tenía otros planes. Conociendo mi agotamiento y mi amor por el mar, decidió que lo mejor era compartir un almuerzo junto a la orilla para relajarme después de tanto esfuerzo. Así fue como los tres, mi esposo, mi padre y yo, nos dirigimos a la ciudad de Juan Griego.*

**My father wanted to take us to a Portuguese friend's restaurant, but when we arrived we realized it was closed. Without losing heart, we walked a little further and found another restaurant nearby called “Frente Al Mar”, with its doors open and a splendid view. My father, without hesitation, asked if there were tables with a view of the sea and, receiving an affirmative answer, we went in without a second thought.**

*Mi padre quería llevarnos a un restaurante de un amigo portugués, pero al llegar nos dimos cuenta de que estaba cerrado. Sin perder el ánimo, caminamos un poco más y encontramos otro restaurante cercano llamado "Frente Al Mar", con sus puertas abiertas y una vista espléndida. Mi padre, sin dudarlo, preguntó si había mesas con vista al mar y, al recibir una respuesta afirmativa, entramos sin pensarlo dos veces.*

**As we found our seats, I was amazed. The view of the sea was simply beautiful, like a moving painting, with its waves and changing colors.**

**We sat down and my father began to talk about the work and how happy he was with the results. His words were a relief, a kind of emotional reward after two intense days. As he spoke, I felt the stress slowly dissipate, leaving room for comfort and calm. The place was almost empty, as the usual lunch break had already passed.**

**I ordered two side dishes: potatoes and tostones, plus a battered steak that, when it arrived at the table, looked simply perfect. The combination of good food and spectacular scenery made the lunch an unforgettable experience. Between bites, conversation flowed effortlessly. Beyond the work, we indulged in the laughter, stories and family jokes that always enliven any gathering.**

**Time went by and, as if it were a picturesque scene, we had the opportunity to see the fishermen returning from their work. It was a spectacle worthy of admiration, men working with the sea, bringing with them the fruit of their effort, in a routine that for them is daily, but that for us was a fascinating spectacle. After contemplating the fishermen and enjoying the tranquility of the surroundings, it was time to leave. We paid the bill and said goodbye to the place with the feeling of having lived a comforting experience.**

*El tiempo pasó y, como si fuera una escena pintoresca, tuvimos la oportunidad de ver a los pescadores regresar de su faena. Fue un espectáculo digno de admiración, hombres trabajando con el mar, trayendo consigo el fruto de su esfuerzo, en una rutina que para ellos es cotidiana, pero que para nosotros resultó un espectáculo fascinante. Después de contemplar a los pescadores y disfrutar de la tranquilidad del entorno, llegó el momento de partir. Pagamos la cuenta y nos despedimos del lugar con la sensación de haber vivido una experiencia reconfortante.*
