Hey dear steemians, hope you are all very well! ![Salm-homecroner-on-the-mat-after-workout.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmQGBHze988smiq42y7gK7MRvNg59RhLKhbGpAvV3dqb15/Salm-homecroner-on-the-mat-after-workout.jpg) I am almost sure that a real steemian would never do this, but... :) Let me tell you shortly about this annoying phenomenon which almost got me into fights several times (not kidding) As you might already know, I am really passionate about fitness and dancing, and whenever I'm passionate about something, I go all in - I mean, we all have ups and downs at times you know, but generally I'm really committed to what I love. So every time I go to the gym, that's my mindset - I'm here to give my all, have a kick ass workout and go back home when I'm done. And I mean DONE! It usually goes like this: I enter the gym, say a quick hi to whoever I know and get started right away. * No useless time wasting. * No unnecessary talking - just intense, hard, WORK Except when I'm doing a special shoot session LOL, like the one that gave birth to this video:

That is actually one of my "secrets" to getting results in a relatively short time - intensity AND consistency happily married throughout the workout 😇 ### Anyway, back to my story... Many a times, when I'm totally engulfed in my workout, say in my 2nd set out of 4 on whatever day (chest, hands, legs, glutes etc...) I'm taking a 20-30 seconds break, getting mentally ready for the 3rd set when a random dude walks up to the device I'm using and without bothering to ask If he can join the set or how many sets I've left, in fact not even making eye contact at times(🤬🤬🤬), he simply pushes himself into his own sets as if I was not there! (guys, girls are an eye contact creaters - please don't freak us out with this weird creepiness!) Like, for God's sake WTF?! I mean, really? Just because I'm a girl you don't bother to ask for permission? Either you hit on me or just throw yourself in the middle of my set as if I were not there? Do you know what one impudent dude responded when I told him "excuse me, I'm in the middle of my set"? He said: "come on girl, I need to do this exercise now, I can't wait for you forever" OMG! What an a * * h * * *! Yeah, I too hoped this was just one case of a rude dude. But then similar cases made me realize that even if this an exception rather than a rule, there IS a misconception among many gym guys - that a girl's workout is not as urgent or as "serious" as their's. They do the real work, we just go to the gym. This makes me FUME!!! 😡 Luckily, there are the cool gym guys that REALLY work hard and respect everybody else, no matter girl or guy. They had to intervene a few times to make the insolents leave and let me go on with my set. Thanks GOD! 😇 ### But you know what... I must confess there is no smoke without fire... I see quite a lot of girls doing just that - going to the gym and hanging around, complaining they don't have results. DA!... You want those abs? You want that butt? Giving guys a reason to think that we don't work as hard as they do in the gym, that they can come and interrupt us anytime, is not the best way to achieve those! So guys, please stop doing that... Even if you see girls that seem to just hang around, do not "fight back" or seem to not care you interrupting them... believe me some do! Some of us are simply too timid, or too nice, or maybe confused... Some girls are there for the fun and the chatter - but others are there to kick ass. You here me? TO KICK ASS! Good 😸 So, dear guys, take that into account please - I know your intentions are not bad, and that we sometimes freak out "too easily:... But realize that no girl likes disrespectful creep, weirdo behavior.
