Happy mid-week, Hive Open Mic family! I greet you with much affection in week 237 to express myself through music and to enjoy the good energy of this community. This week’s theme is Long Live Women, a well-deserved tribute to those special beings full of light for the world.

We all have a mother, a sister, a friend or a beloved person who represents the beauty and nobility of being a woman, a being created by God to love, to give herself completely for others, to create, to grow and to teach the right path to those around her. At all times we owe respect and admiration to these great women, tireless fighters and enthusiasts of life. I feel more than proud to be part of this courageous gender, capable of achieving any goal and dream we set for ourselves.

Today I want to share with you a cover of the song Tú (You), by the Japanese Latin music orchestra La Pasión de Japón, from their first album De Japón su Salsa, released in 2024, which I adapted from salsa to ballad and copied the lyrics directly by ear, since there are still no sources of these on the internet, since the orchestra is new and they are just making their debut on the music scene.

The lyrics tell us an expression of great love for that loved one that could be a woman or it could be the woman who dedicates it, in any case it is a very poetic lyric that describes the importance of that person in life, comparing her to a spring flower and a light that illuminates the path of love. ¡Feliz mitad de semana, familia de Hive Open Mic! Les saludo con mucho cariño en la semana 237 para expresarme a través de la música y poder disfrutar de la buena energía de esta comunidad. La temática de esta semana es “Que Vivan las Mujeres”, un homenaje bien merecido a esos seres especiales llenos de mucha luz para el mundo.

Todos tenemos una madre, una hermana, una amiga o una persona muy amada que representa la belleza y la nobleza de ser mujer, un ser creado por Dios para amar, para darse por completo por los demás, para crear, para crecer y para enseñarnos el camino correcto a quienes tiene a su alrededor. En todo momento les debemos respeto y admiración a esas grandes mujeres, luchadoras incansables y entusiastas de la vida. Me siento más que orgullosa de ser parte de este género tan valeroso y capaz de llevar a cabo cualquier meta y sueño que nos propongamos.

A propósito de esta temática hoy les quiero compartir un cover de la canción Tú, de la orquesta japonesa de música latina La Pasión de Japón, perteneciente a su primer álbum De Japón su Salsa, publicado en 2024, la cual adapté de salsa a balada y copié las letras directamente de oído, ya que aún no se encuentran fuentes de estas en internet, puesto que la orquesta es nueva y están haciendo apenas su debut en la escena musical.

La letra nos relata una expresión de gran amor por ese ser querido que bien puede ser una mujer o bien puede ser la mujer quien la dedica, en todo caso es una letra muy poética que describe la importancia de esa persona en la vida, comparándola con una flor de primavera y una luz que ilumina el camino del amor.
