It is also very important to keep track of your performance and compare your performance with a previous season to see if there are any major changes that you might have missed. First let's look at the big picture. One of the main sources of earnings in Splinterlands is SPS. Below is the graph of my total SPS earnings. ![](https://images.ecency.com/DQmeiRiFR38whrh2oX5XHrvakQxd3BLvicS34PvuCNeqnZJ/image.png) From the image you see a big jump in SPS earnings in Season 154, that is when SPS Validator nodes were launched. Then we see a rapid decline from the top in season 155 which was the first full season of SPS validation rewards that is when I was one of the first validator nodes and was in the top ten nodes before others caught up and surpassed my node. From season 157 you pretty much see a steady decline until season 162 where the SPS earnings bottomed out and stabilized. There was a big pop in Season 163 where I did a modern experiment, but after calculating the numbers I came to the conclusion that playing in Wild league is more profitable at this time despite the increased SPS earnings in Modern. I may repeat the Modern experiment some time in the future, but for now I am staying in Wild League.

I never sell any cards, this might be a mistake, but I am a long term believe in Splinterlands and taking a few cents for some cards here and there does not appeal to me very much. Closing notes

When Glint rewards first started I was earning in 200K range of glint per season, then I moved up to 300k range, then 400k range and since season 157 I have stayed in the 500k range reaching towards 600K twice in the last two seasons.
