Hello DIYers - 7th Contest Month of 2023!

As you well know, we are a DIY community here on HIVE with the sole aim of supporting DIY creators all around the globe. Within this community we are hosting a monthly contest to encourage and reward great authors out there, and with each contest comes a theme. Because we are fully non-profit and share 100% curation reward with our delegators we have collected a bunch of cool projects and communities who are open to supporting us with the monthly prize pools. In July we are partnering up with some good old friends from @SkateHive! But first let's cover all the details about June in the theme of SUN!

Last month in the theme of SUN was super exciting and filled with very creative contest entries. It was a joy to go through all the entries, see their creativity and suck up the knowhow shared with them!

## How to join the Contest?

All you have to do is create a DIY post centering around the prompt of the month. Get creative and follow the rules below to win some cool prizes! #### 1 Prompt

Buzzing with excitement, the "Bees Contest" takes flight, inviting all creatives on Hive to immerse themselves in the enchanting world of bees. Creativity meets sustainability in a celebration of:

B E E S

Bees are extraordinary creatures that hold immense importance in our world. As pollinators, they play a critical role in the reproduction of flowering plants, enabling the growth of fruits and vegetables that form the foundation of our food systems! Their buzzing wings remind us of the interconnectedness of all living beings and serve as a powerful reminder of our responsibility to protect and preserve nature! And as we all are thriving on our blockchain called Hive - this contest theme fits of course perfectly to our ecosystem as well :)

But still, think out of the box and create your own idea in order to stand out from the masses ;) The more creative you get the higher the chance of winning! Get inspired by Nature documentaries, childhood memories and beeswax and honey products

Possibilities are endless again but here are a few ideas you can get inspired by:

Show off your bee-friendly garden
Build a bees hotel out of recycled materials
Make cosmetics out of beeswax
Create an embroidery with a bee as subject
Share a receipt centered around honey
...

#### 3 Tips - To maximize your chances get creative and think outside the box. - Create something unique with the prompt and try to avoid the obvious. - The more details your post contains about the process the better your chances will be - try to add many images, describing text and maybe a video of the process - use the long time until the deadline to optimize your post as much as you can - as you can read in the [rules and target niches](https://peakd.com/hive-189641/@diyhub/faq-content-requirements-and-our-target-niches) we only accept processes/tutorials not just posts about the final result
