Some nice progress in the last week, I have also invested a bit more into Steem Power once more due to the attractively low price of STEEM. I have been a bit more active with posts, though nowhere near the level of activity posting from a few weeks ago and the reason is not the lower rewards.

What I've Been Doing Last Week

Last week I finally decided to go to SteemFest, so I started by purchasing a ticket for the event and then booking a room in the Volkshotel, the only thing remaining is to get the plane tickets. I'm still looking at the best way to get to Amsterdam and get back from there, it is not that long of a trip, I just want to find the optimal time for the travel in both directions, so I'm a bit late with that. I will complete that in the next week just to be sure it won't be left for the last minute as it is never good to wait too much for things like that...

Apart from SteemFest I also posted a bit about Thermal Imaging Cameras, something that I have some experience with and a bit of knowledge, so I wanted to share more about these interesting devices. Especially now that they are also becoming more affordable and accessible to normal users and not only for professionals that use them in their line of work for specialized tasks. It is an interesting read if you want to get a bit more details about the interesting world of thermal imaging, and especially if you are a fan of the Predator movies.

I have also tried resurrecting an old idea that I've had a while ago about the tags introduceyourbag and introduceyourbackpack, though yet again it did not get much attention like the previous time I tried. Interestingly enough it did not do bad in terms of reward or to be more precise will do well in a month when its second payout period comes. Anyway, it seems that the user base of Steemit is still pretty low for such ideas to get enough traction, so maybe I will give it another try in another two months.

I did some posts about computers, hardware and software and got back to some 3D printing tips and 3D printing. If 3D printing is something that you are interested in I would recommend you go back to the history of my account and take a look at the 10 part series about 3D printing I have written quite a while ago.

The work on @robotev is progressing nicely, it has been operational for about a month and a half now and it has seen a lot of improvement since its initial basic functionality at first. I have been powering up the account of the voting bot, so it is now with more than 1000 Steem Power (not that it is that much at the moment), but when the price of Steem rises at some point it would mean the bot will be able to provide more support to new users posting good quality content.

I have been helping the @steemcleaners project for the last few weeks and although I'm not that active I'm still trying to help fight plagiarism and abuse on Steemit as this is something I believe helps keep this community.

That is pretty much it for the last week, it was a busy one and most likely things will get even busier with the end of the year approaching, but still there is some time left for Steemit, so let us see what the next week will bring...
