Aujourd'hui je vais vous montrer comment j'ai réalisé une carte postale en utilisant un de mes modèles de coloriages, Monsieur Renard...

So I began with this coloring page, which I showed you the realization a few months ago,
and I printed it with the idea of keeping only the fox.

I wanted to make him a new environment, not just to use the whole scene, which would have been the easy way, but not the creativity I wanted for this handmade card 😉

Je suis donc partie de ce coloriage, dont je vous avais montré la réalisation il y a quelques mois,
et je l'ai imprimé en n'envisageant de garder que le renard.

J'avais envie de lui faire un nouvel environnement, et non pas de simplement me servir de toute la scène, ce qui aurait été la solution de facilité, mais pas la créativité que je souhaitait pour cette carte fait main 😉

So after printing my fox, I had a layer of white gesso to receive the colorization that was to follow.

This time I did not use my Neocolor pastels, but the watercolor crayons Supracolor II, also from Carand'Ache

Then I water them with a fine wet brush,
and I accentuate the shadows with Faber-Castell's Pitt artist pen, which I then smeared with a Q-tip.

Once the fox is finished, I cut it and glue it on my postcard, the front of which is pre-printed.

At last I draw the decor with ultra thin fineliner

Donc après avoir imprimé mon renard, j'ai passé une couche de gesso blanc afin de recevoir la colorisation qui allait suivre.

Cette fois je n'ai pas utilisé mes pastels Néocolor, mais les crayons aquarellables Supracolor II, également de chez Carand'Ache

Je les ai donc aquarellés avec un pinceau fin humide,
puis j'ai accentué les ombres avec les feutres Pitt artist pen de Faber-Castell, que j'estompe ensuite avec un coton tige.

Une fois le renard terminé, je le découpe et le colle sur ma carte postale dont le recto est pré imprimé,

puis je dessine le décor avec des feutres ultra fins
