Je vais vous raconter l'histoire de ce petit escargot qui porte sur son dos une bien jolie maisonnette...

A few months ago I had already made a similar painting, and recently I had the visit of my best friend and her daughter, who happens to be my godchild ... the little blonde had a birthday party on the next Saturday and her mom thought that one of my paintings would make a nice birthday present
(my godchild has a large collection of my paintings at her house since I've been gifting her since she was born and she's now 5 years old ... LoL)

Il y a quelques mois j'avais déjà réalisé un tableau semblable, et récemment j'ai eu la visite de ma meilleure amie et de sa fille, qui se trouve être ma filleule...
la petite blondinette se rendait à un anniversaire en fin de semaine et sa maman s'était dit qu'une de mes peintures ferait un joli cadeau d'anniversaire
(ma filleule a chez elle une importante collection de mes tableaux puisque je lui en offre depuis sa naissance et qu' elle a maintenant 5 ans...LoL)

So here we are all three with my paintings available spread everywhere so they can make their choice

So mom and daughter pick 5 or 6 different painting that they like a lot,
then comes the delicate moment of choice

Mom : What do you think of this one Solea ?
Solea : NOOO, I'd want it for me !!
...
Mom : Well then, maybe this one ?
Solea : NOOO, I want it for me TOO !!
...
Mom : We do not choose a painting for you now, but for your friend ... which one would you like to give her for her birthday ?
Solea : none of them ! I would like them all for me !!

Nous voilà donc toutes les trois avec mes peintures disponibles étalées partout afin qu'elles puissent faire leur choix
Donc la maman et la fille en sélectionnent 5 ou 6 différents qu'elles aiment beaucoup, puis vient le moment délicat du choix
la maman : Que penses-tu de celui-ci Soléa ?
Solea : NOOON, je le voudrait pour moi !!
...
la maman : Bon alors, peut-être celui là ?
Solea : NOOON, je le veux pour moi aussi!!
...
la maman : On ne choisit pas un tableau pour toi là mais pour ton amie...lequel aimerais-tu lui offrir pour son anniversaire ?
Solea : aucun, je les veux tous pour moi toute seule!!

Well, we found a solution together : she chose the snail painting for her friend and I did the snail again

So here is this little snail, a little similar but quite unique,
for a little girl who could not decide which painting she should give up 😉

Bon, nous avons trouvé ensemble une solution : elle choisit le tableau escargot pour son amie et je lui refais le même 😄 😄

Donc voici ce petit escargot, unique mais un peu semblable,
pour une petite fille qui n'arrivait pas à décider quel tableau elle devrait abandonner 😉
