The Catharanthus roseus physical aspect is simple, the variety I have chosen as inspiration for this painting has five large petals with little variation in the shade of pink collapsing into a white circle on a simple green stem.

Her simple appearance is outdone and out stand by her medicinal properties.
The Catharanthus roseus is both used in traditional and modern medicine to treat a wide variety of diseases, to name few: diabetes, malaria, Hodgkin's lymphoma, and leukemia.
