This week I called for submissions for portraits to paint. @soyrosa was the submission that I wanted to do, though the chipmunk in a tutu was an option too. Her picture is great, and I had a lot of fun with it. For those who missed that submission it was here.
Turns out, I didn't do this one blindfolded. Though I knew if I tried it wouldn't turn out this nice. I partially wanted to do something nice because I know how strong of a contribution @soyrosa has had on the art community on Steemit. @soyrosa, feel free to use this piece anywhere you desire!
The Art
This particular piece I took my time on. Added more colors that I wanted to and more details on some shading. I think the contrast of colors and light to dark in combination of having a great photo subject made this a success! I appreciate the Steemit community for taking a look at what this is about, at the #whisper gallery I, and everything else in between. This has allowed myself, as well as several other artists to succeed on this platform and begin to build a career in the visual arts.
