Recently artist @paolobeneforti offered to do digital portraits for Steem Dollars. I just had to take him up on that. I sent him a photo and he produced this fine work. The photo was taken on a holiday in Spain. At the house we stayed in was an ancient guitar that was just for decoration as it was falling apart. I couldn't resist posing with it:
Great as it was to get this picture, Paolo went one better. He knows my music taste and produced this! It made me literally LOL.
We have some cool artists here on Steemit. You can help them out by buying their work for Steem, if they are happy to do that. I previously had one done by @shayne. The colours are a little odd as he did it from a black and white, but I was able to tweak them for my current avatar.
I'll consider some other commissions in future. I'm looking to spend some of my Steem as it's extra money to treat myself. I did just take out some Steem to top up my Eobot. Just waiting for it to arrive there.
