There are the last two books I've read, both written by Agatha Christie: "Partners in crime" and "Cards on the table". I love reading books like these since they always get my full attention, the mystery behind the crimes and solving them is something I really like. I find characters like Sherlock Holmes and Hercule Poirot absolutely amazing and brilliant!
Another amazing writer I discovered this year is Donato Carrisi! So far I've read two of his books, the only ones I could find at my small, local library and the moment I started reading them, I just couldn't stop! I'm looking forward to read more from him.
"Prisoner of Tehran", "The rice mother", "Black mamba boy" are books about difficult life and struggles of people (two women and one boy, in these 3 books I've mentioned here) and 2 of them are writen by the true life stories, I'm not sure if "The rice mother" is as well but it felt like something real and I'm sure there's a lot of women out there dealing with the same or similar life issues, experiences and problems as the main character in this book. Reading books like these can be a little bit hard if you're someone who really gets emotinally invested in the plot but it also shows the reality of lives of so many people around the world.
I would love to hear what's your favorite book you've read this year or what kind of books you like in general? And happy November, guys! Can't believe it's November - time goes by so fast! It's also my birthday month! :D
