Lifestyle changes are often influenced by social classes and to show that a person is successful by fulfilling life with "luxury" food.
From the habit of feeding the "ego" with food that follows current trends, from there we begin to bring many diseases into ourselves. Ranging from mental illness to physical.
In an era of luxury as it is today, living simply with simple food is considered a social class failure for some people.
That's why I always learn to always maintain a simple diet but that contains enough health value and is able to become natural medicine for the body.
I am also happy to find friends or communities who do not feed their egos with "expensive food but bad for the body".
In fact, I'm grateful to get to know the vegan community at Steemit that promotes a healthy lifestyle. Thanks to the community @naturalmedicine and @vegansofsteemit I am now getting used to managing a plant-based food even though it is not completely one hundred percent because I still have a hard time not eating eggs.
So, in this post, I will participate in the "Do It Now" Challenge held by @naturalmedicine and @Build-it Tribe
I will share with you how to make coconut bowls and some vegan recipes. I have also made videos so you can watch the procedures for making them if you are bored to read blogs.
Enjoy!

1. HOW TO MAKE VEGAN BOWLS FROM COCONUT SHELLS
If you live in an area that has a lot of coconuts, then using coconut shells for serving bowls on your dining table is a good thing. Since I can make it myself at home, now I feel addicted to making coconut bowls.
How to make it is certainly not difficult if we already have a supply of coconut shells. Next, we only need sandpaper or aluminum oxide cloth, knives, and cooking oil.

The first step
Cut a coconut using a saw, or we can use a machete. Here I am splitting the coconut in a very traditional way using a machete, but I have to be very careful so that the shape of the coconut shell is good.
Please watch my previous video to see: How To Peel and Cut Coconut
Second Step
Clean the rough layer of fiber on the outside of the shell, and clean the rest of the coconut meat that was previously removed from the shell.
Third step
Rub the shell with sandpaper until the rough surface feels smooth and displays a nice natural texture. Repeat several times.
Fourth Step
After the surface of the shell really feels smooth and clean from the rest of the dust, then apply cooking oil, then dry. Repeat about 3 times.
Results
I really like the results. Even now I often use coconut bowl for my eating activities.
Coconut bowls have different characteristics from each other. Different colors and textures of coconut shells provide beautiful artistic value.
2. HOW TO MAKE VEGAN THAI GREEN CURRY
Thai Green Curry is a popular dish with basic ingredients of chicken with vegetables. I replaced the chicken in this recipe using tofu. You can also use tempeh in this recipe.
To make Vegan Thai Green Curry is very easy. If you don't have a complete inventory of Asian spices, I don't think that's a problem. The most important thing in this recipe is making a green curry paste.
The green color in green curry paste is produced from green chili and coriander leaves. You can use a substitute for green chili with green peppers. As for the coriander leaves, it can be replaced with celery leaves. For this recipe, I did use celery leaves because in Indonesia it is very difficult to find cilantro and I have never found cilantro.

3. HOW TO MAKE TROPICAL MANGO SMOOTHIES
How to make smoothies is very easy because we can combine various fruit ingredients to our taste.
The most important thing about making smoothies with good texture is that you must have a supply of plant-based frozen fruit and milk, or you can use coconut water.
I always have a supply of frozen fruit to make smoothies for breakfast or for a healthy snack during the day.
