We need SHAMPOO, DETERGENT, CHILDREN’S BOOKS, OLD TOYS AND CLOTHES. The target cost will lessen if we will have donations for the hygiene products, books and art materials. You can bring them on our upcoming meet-up this coming Sunday. Details about the meet-up will be posted by @morken.
All Donations and Expenses shall be liquidated for transparency and accountability.
A culmination event will be held on June 02, 2018 at the Luis Amigo Ladies Dormitory.

Most of these street children are alone, hungry and uneducated. They were victims of abuses in our society and even at their own homes. Children who are open in exploitation but they are mute and there rights are deprived! Some of them don't even know their birthdays. But seems that nobody cares for there right! It is not their fault not even their destiny.

Despite the hardships I encountered, I still consider myself lucky and blessed enough compared to some people who are struggling to provide for their basic needs such as food and clothes. Steemit has been a great bridge to extend my blessings to other people in need.

As an individual in our society, everyday I noticed many homeless people everywhere. Since I was a kid I always wonder what is it to live in the street, no house, no clothes, no money and the worse no food to eat. I am very concerned to those people especially the street children. I was very happy to be in this program because I always wanted to make street children happy.

I’ve been very grateful to the Almighty for giving me many blessings in my life right now. My heart always smiles everytime I can feel his mercy towards me. This time, I am willing to share these smiles to these kids. I am very thankful to @indayclara for giving me the chance to go with her at the Luis Amigo Dormitory for I have missed seeing smiles from children. I see them smile and even laugh during our visit, but everytime I look at those smiles, I realized I am more fortunate with my life.

I also asked the same thing. Why here in Steemit when you can probably help kids without the power of steem? I have my own answer too. On the past few months, I struggled to earn some money to help kids and let them enjoy their time as a kid. I already had an experience of giving for the needy. Facebook never helped us on gathering our funds for the project, the likes and shares were meaningless. We contacted our closest friends to raise some funds, the good news was they only volunteered but most of the funds raised are from our own wallets.
Thank you so much! Stay tune and Steem on!
