This blog might be of lesser concern to huge and major investors called Whales, so far their investment is not under threat, the disintegrating Global community called steemit would be the least of their worries. A fact, unless I want to sweet talk my way unto the Trending page which is likely a zero chance!
But for all other Blockchain Bloggers, those who were not lucky to own a large proportion of pre-mined SP; this should bother us all. Newbies, Redfishes, Minnows, Dolphins and some Whales(The very Special and Kind ones), we all in some ways have created a mess which the creators of Steem " @ned and @dan" might never have envisaged during the conception of this project/community.
To some of us who still caught the good old days of steemit, there was a time where a few groups and forums exist and hence no sentiments or favoritism; just like a normal social media functions where any good and interesting content is appreciated with a shipload of likes and comments. The different is, the likes(Upvotes) on this platform has values in SBD/Steem. Back in the early days of Steemit,
no one needs to belong to a dozen sub-groups or communities before getting supports and visibilities in Resteem and Upvotes...This was never the Modus Operandi of the real Steemit!
I have been opportuned to be seen by some Whales I choose not to mention, a couple of them needs not to be summoned through memos before they support any reasonable and enlightening article. These are the real ones operating the actual "Blog-Interact-Earn" principle without compromise. Maybe I skipped that spot on the Steem White or Bluepaper that states a User/Blogger must summon a Dolphin or a Whale to upvote or be in at least five sub-communities to earn on the platform we all promote/market with "BLOG AND EARN"
The answers to this would be No, the afformentioned conditions where just Steemian-made rules to satisfy the imbalance, greed and god-complex nature of people all over the World using Steemit.
DANGERS OF TOO MANY SUB COMMUNITIES TO STEEMIT; LOGICAL APPROACH
Come for the money, stay for the Community is the Slogan; but we now have communities and no more Steemit, to blend in and have a normal Blogging life you have to take up a role as a community leader or a country ambassador. Taking this roles and responsibilities are not bad, but how good is the intent of those involved in this?
UNHEALTHY AND UNREASONABLE COMPETITIONS
Everyone starts literally one group or multiple forums to match or begin an unhealthy contest with another just to show the supremacy of how long or how much each one has earned in Steem/SBD and then become a steem demi-god. Was that the plan of the creators of steem?
Sub-groups/communities foster unhealthy competitions where there is no need for one, creating unreasonable complex situations of power tussle. Something I have detached myself from for long now taking after some model steemians who had foreseen the dangers of "several Coaches in a Locomotive Train".
BREEDING GROUND FOR SCAMS
You do not need to head a group or a community, and never need to start another one to make an impact. Touching lives and never expecting something in return does not need multiple people to execute. Something needs to be done, this many groups breeds scamming!
Some of the subgroups takes advantages of Newbies and Crypto rookies, ripping them of their little earnings with promises to get more, we all have seen this happen and it is devastating why many fall victim to such acts.
The shenanigans of the real World has found its way unto the Blockchain through many of this pseudo sub-communities and the ideologies of these community leaders. Racism, Language and profession segregations are subjects of concern that needs to be seriously dealt with to save the Global Steemit Community where one is for all and all for one!
WHO AM I TO TROUBLESHOOT STEEMIT?
Since Only a few Whales have time to read minnows Blog, nor do Ned and Dan are likely to read this; then this is just but another rant form a disturbed minnow who still sees the Good Steemit of Old. But I have seen some of the good days of Steem and Steemit, seen the Bad and Worse days and i strongly believe the best days are yet to come!
