One of the most popular characters without its own movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is Black Widow, played by Scarlett Johansson. You probably already know her name but it is a good example for a very difficult name. We will now look at how to memorize her name.

The Person

Like always we begin with the anchor point for our person. She is a sex bomb and - no matter whether you are man or woman - we can all agree on using her female attractiveness like hair, eyes, lips or breasts. But since she is famous for playing Black Widow we combine that with imagining her in her black suit. Sexy!

Sie ist eine Sexbombe und wir können uns darauf einigen ihre weiblichen Vorzüge zu verwenden, wie ihr Haar, ihre Augen, ihre Lippen oder ihre Brüste. First Name: Scarlett

Her first name Scarlett is relatively easy. It is the same as a color and therefor we can look for something with that particular color. To mind comes a scarlett cloth or flower. But even better an animal with that color, maybe even in its name. Like the Scarlet Macaw or the Scralet Ibis. I will go with the Scarlet Macaw. Other words could be scar, skull and so on.

Ihr Vorname ist im Englischen einfacher als im Deutschen: Scarlet ist dort eine Farbe und zwar purpur Rot. Deshalb habe ich mich für den Scarlet Macaw oder auf Deutsch Roter Ara entschieden. Es gehen aber Worte wie Skat, Skala, Skelett und so weiter. Am besten du suchst dir deinen eigenen Favoriten heraus.

Family Name: Johansson

Her family name Johansson is very difficult, I think. It doesn't sound like any English word I know. I had to ask for help for this one because I could only come up with similar words in German. The Steemit user @SirCork came up with a brilliant but unusual solution: You're handsome. Here we have an entire sentence but that will work just as well in our memory story, as you will see below.

Ihr Nachname ist auf Deutsch viel einfacher als im Englischen: Johannisbeere klingt sehr ähnlich, zumindest der Anfang des Wortes. Das sollte genügen um sich zu erinnern. Im Englischen habe ich jedoch mit Hilfe von @SirCork auch eine tolle Lösung gefunden und zwar den Satz You're handsome - was "du bist attraktiv" bedeutet. Passt ja ganz gut, denkst du nicht?
