It's Friday again already. The weeks are racing by and Steemit is one year old! Who has been here from the start? I joined in August and missed out on some of the initial excitement, but it's been a fun ride so far. There's always something going on here.
There do seem to be a few issues with the site in the last day or two. Notifications are not working, the Promote button has vanished and some bots seem to be broken. I expect there's some work going on to resolve these. If they team could keep us updated it would help.
I'm at almost 6000 posts/comments now! I really have the Steemit habit.

- @lilwallay is a US TV actor who recently joined. We need people like this who can get the word around their industry that there is a new type of social site available.
- @stav is an old friend who I met on the Six String Bliss guitar forum. We meet up now and again to go to guitar shows.
- @simonkraemer is a friend of @soundlegion and a fellow musician.
- @fidel-castro follows in the footsteps of @lordvader as a deceased autocratic leader who likes Steemit. Maybe they should be running this joint!
