Hmm, maybe a melodramatic title, but it's what popped into my head. I'm sure some people were panicking over the drop in Steem price. It was down below 10c again, but has recovered slightly. Seems it's due to all the Steem being dumped by some of the whales. I maintain that Steem has a real use, unlike many cryptocurrencies that are just speculated on. People are earning it here and are able to spend it. As more people discover this it will take off.
Of course it's Friday again (yay!), so here's some selected Steemians to spectate:
- @buzzbeergeek just signed up in Croatia. He's into beer and a veggie, so can't be bad
- @uwelang has been featured here a few times, but he's a cool guy from Germany and has something to offer the community. He's doing a Today in Sports History series. Having a theme like that is a great way to come up with posts. There will always be something to write about. And he likes beer too!
- @kyusho writes about health and other interesting topics. I just discovered they run centres around the world teaching health and some sort of martial art. Of course you have to be careful about any health advice on-line as there is a lot of dodgy stuff out there. Engage your brain when reading.
- @everittdmickey joined around the same time as me. I have to say we don't agree on various topics around politics and the media, but it's good to have other views here. We shouldn't live in a bubble.
- @marketingmonk puts out a daily podcast/video about the world of cryptocurrencies. He's been advocating Steem, so I hope that reaches some people who will sign up.
