It also helps with “Hang Overs”. I'm not usually one to take vitamin supplements but algae are a Super Food and a little different than most others.

I live alone and as much as I love cooking I hate cleaning dishes. So after I cook, the dishes usually sit there reminding me what had done a few days ago. So sweet of them. So I eat out a lot and get delivery or pick up more often than I used to back in Canada. Plus there is just so much delicious food I think is probably cheaper for me to eat out depending what I'm craving.
I do worry that I am not getting enough vitamins though. I know of two fellow expats here that have had some serious potassium deficiencies. Potassium is really under rated and can cause you to pass out suddenly, especially in a hot shower, something about the heat. Your heart will also stop beating without enough potassium. Spirulina has 95mg of Potassium per Gram on top of pretty much every other vitamin your body craves.
So I had got some of this kindly shipped to me by my father.
It absorbs toxins making them great for the day after a party. They replace all the vitamins and take out the crap you don't need and is probably harmful to you. By No Means Is This a Cure for Hang Overs but I do feel a bit better afterwards.
One gram of Spirulina is equivalent to one kilo of fruits and veggies. Great for helping lose weight too. Is it really a wonder why the United Nations is calling it the most important part of any diet especially in developing countries lacking a variety of nutritious foods?

So after a night of heavy drinking and I somehow manage to crawl out of bed the first thing I want to consume is water, right?
Just pop some of these vitamins and drink em down. Then you start brewing the coffee. By the time the coffee is brewed the vitamins and minerals in the algae will be absorbed and working hard to make you feel well again.
Tons of uses and medicinal uses. It can be eaten in foods by adding it to things you don’t cook, never cook it. Or in Smoothies which is quite popular with body builders because it’s 60% protein.

Give it a try. I promise it won't do you harm, it's food not a drug, all organic kind of like a vegetable.
