Greetings to all! I think this is my first post on @TheTerminal, not including the one I made for @wesphilbin contest, despite being quite active on the discord server; still, I'm very glad this is one of my first posts here, because I will tell you a bit of the journey I went through to reach my personal achievement of 100 HP; a small achievement for some, a big achievement for me.
I will be commenting on important moments for me and mentioning users, so if I mention you, dear reader, it is because you were very helpful in the achievement that this publication will be about. To make the publication a little more entertaining, I will use the metaphor of a child learning to ride a bicycle. Having said all of the above, let's begin!

When I arrived at HIVE nobody knew me, just like all the newcomers. I remember that my introduction post was seen by few people and I had no idea what to do, where to start, who to ask questions to or anything like that. I saw a video on youtube with some recommendations, so with those few tips I started. Surprisingly, after making my presentation post, I was surprised by the mention on @heyhaveyamet, where they posted a link to my post; it was something that contributed to some users knowing me.
I remember that post was one of the ones that led me to get closer to TheTerminal discord. Until then I didn't use discord much, but I saw that it would be a great help to stay in that community to learn, because I had no idea about anything. It's a great job you do with this project, so I applaud you and encourage you to keep doing it. If it had a positive impact on me, it will surely have a positive influence on other users!

The Terminal
I remember one day I was on @TheTerminal discord server chat, also @wesphilbin and @brittandjosie were there. I asked about community banners and britt told me where to find them, then one thing led to another and well, britt asked me this:
I felt like Po from Kung Fu Panda when Master Shifu told him he would be his teacher. So there I was, all excited to learn from these excellent teachers; then Britt's LEANRANDEARND began. I only had to answer a few questions, but I received advice that still serves me well now.
In this part I must talk about @Stayten. I remember I had little HP by then, as I had made a few posts and had not gotten enough rewards, only the HP that giftgiver delegated me for seven days, and those seven days were ending. Then Stayten came along and delegated HP to me to keep posting. Here's a funny anecdote: When I saw that I had HP, I thanked Wes because I thought it was him, but then I thanked Stayten.
That day I received very good advice that I still put into practice today, so with HP enough, I started to look for suitable communities for my publications, I published in these and well, I achieved good results.
Imagine my journey starts with me learning to ride a bike. Wes, Stayten, Kittygirl and Britt (TheTerminal staff members) would be the ones who gave me the gift of learning wheels so I wouldn't fall off.

LEARNANDEARN Contest

One of the first contests I was in was the #LEARNANDEARN, run by @Jizzyjoe. I must confess that many of my contest entries I did wrong, as I didn't follow some rules or understand how I was supposed to do it, but then I understood and then I did it right. I remember @thekittygirl commenting on one of the posts I made for a round of this contest. She commented to me, "writing down what I've learned helps me remember better". So that's what I did, I used this contest to write down all that I learned during the week, remember all those new details I learned.
Interestingly, Kittygirl was the one who answered many of the questions I asked when I was new. She was always there to answer the many questions I asked or to complement the answers other users gave me, as happened recently (while I was writing this post).
On my metaphorical bike ride, Kittygirl joined the others in pushing my bike along with Jizzyjoe, so that I would learn to pedal without training wheels.

I love writing, it is one of the things I am passionate about. Since I started in HIVE I have published short stories that I enjoyed writing. I published them in @literatos, a wonderful community that allows you to share your writings in Spanish. It was very gratifying when literatos voted for my post and reblogged my publication, I felt that I had liked what I had written and it encouraged me to continue doing it.

Some of them left comments that I really enjoyed reading, because they encouraged me to keep posting; however, I wasn't getting as many rewards as other types of posts from other users, but I still tried to keep my mind fixed on my blog, to focus on continuing to post quality stuff. That's when I first received a vote from @cervantes, courtesy of @sancho.panza. It was a pleasant surprise and encouraged me even more to keep posting. With that vote from cervantes, I made more profit with my stories and significantly increased my HP.
I am very grateful to literatos for the good reception I had in this community and to sancho panza for taking me into account for his healing. In my metaphorical bicycle ride, you would be like those neighbors who greet me during the ride and congratulate me for learning to pedal alone.

I remember that reaching 80 HP was exciting, because I felt that I would soon reach 100. The countdown to 100 HP I lived with three posts:

I didn't manage to reach 100 HP exactly. No, with the publication "Discover my country with pictures" I reached 95, approximately; but with the publication of "Shopping weekend with mom" I reached a little more than 110 HP.
When I saw that I had managed to surpass that goal, I was happy, but to be honest, what I enjoyed the most was the whole journey. I learned a lot, met some very good and interesting people, made friends, formed bonds and got involved with the communities, which is the most important thing. In my metaphorical bicycle journey, reaching this goal would be like meeting up with a group of friends who also rode bicycles, to continue traveling with them, as a group.

¡Saludos a todos! Creo que es mi primera publicación en @TheTerminal, sin incluir la que hice para el concurso de @wesphilbin, a pesar de ser bastante activo en el servidor de discord; aún así, me alegra mucho que esta sea una de mis primeras publicaciones aquí, porque les contaré un poco del trayecto que recorrí hasta llegar a mi logro personal de 100 HP; un logro pequeño para algunos, un gran logro para mí.
Iré comentando momentos importantes para mi y haciendo mención de usuarios, así que si hago mención de usted, estimado lector, es porque fue de mucha ayuda en el logro del que tratará esta publicación. Para hacer la publicación un poco más entretenida, usaré la metáfora de un niño aprendiendo a andar en bicicleta. Dicho todo lo anterior, ¡Comencemos!

Cuando llegué a HIVE no me conocía nadie, igual que todos los recien llegados. Recuerdo que mi post de presentación lo vieron pocas personas y no tenía ni idea de qué hacer, por donde comenzar, a quien hacer preguntas ni nada de eso. Vi un video en youtube con algunas recomendaciones, así que con esos pocos tip's comencé. Sorpresivamente, después de hacer mi post de presentación, me sorprendió la mención en @heyhaveyamet, donde colocaron un enlace a mi post; fue algo que contribuyó a que algunos usuarios me conocieran.
Recuerdo que ese post fue uno de los que me llevó a acercarme más al discord de TheTerminal. Hasta entonces no usaba mucho discord, pero vi que sería de gran ayuda mantenerme en esa comunidad para aprender, porque no tenía idea de nada. Es una gran labor la que se hace con este proyecto, así que lo aplaudo y lo animo a seguir haciéndolo. Si en mi tuvo un impacto positivo, seguramente influirá positivamente en otros usuarios!

The Terminal
Recuerdo que cierto día estaba en el chat del servidor de discord de @TheTerminal, también estaba @wesphilbin y @brittandjosie allí. Pregunté acerca de los banners de la comunidad y britt me dijo donde encontrarlos, luego una cosa llevó a la otra y bueno, britt me preguntó esto:
Me sentí como Po, de Kung Fu Panda, cuando el maestro Shifu le dijo que sería su maestro. Entonces ahí estaba yo, todo emocionado por aprender de estos excelentes maestros; entonces comenzó el LEANRANDEARND de Britt. Solo tuve que contestar unas cuantas preguntas, pero recibí consejos que aún ahora me sirven de mucho.
En esta parte debo hablar de @Stayten. Recuerdo que tenía poco HP para entonces, pues había hecho algunos post y no había obtenido recompensas suficientes, solo el HP que me delegó giftgiver por siete días, y esos siete días estaban terminando. Entonces llegó Stayten y me delegó HP para seguir publicando. Aquí una anécdota graciosa: Cuando vi que tenía HP, le di las gracias a Wes porque pensé que había sido él, pero luego le di las gracias a Stayten.
Ese día recibí muy buenos consejos que aún hoy pongo en práctica, así que con HP suficiente, comencé a buscar comunidades adecuadas para mis publicaciones, publiqué en estas y bueno, logré buenos resultados.
Imaginen que mi trayecto comienza conmigo aprendiendo a andar en bicicleta. Wes, Stayten, Kittygirl y Britt (miembros del staff de TheTerminal) serían los que me regalaron rueditas de aprendizaje para no caerme.

LEARNANDEARN Contest

Uno de los primeros concursos en los que estuve fue el #LEARNANDEARN, llevado por @Jizzyjoe. Debo confesar que muchas de mis participaciones en el concurso las hice mal, pues no seguí algunas reglas ni entendí cómo debía hacerlo, pero luego lo entendí y entonces lo hice bien. Recuerdo que @thekittygirl comentó en uno de los post que hice para una ronda de este concurso. Ella me comentó: "escribir lo que he aprendido me ayuda a recordar mejor". Así que eso fue lo que hice, usé este concurso para escribir todo eso que aprendía en la semana, recordar todos esos nuevos detalles que aprendía.
Curiosamente, Kittygirl fue quien contestó muchas de las preguntas que hice cuando era nuevo. Siempre estaba ahí para contestar las muchas preguntas que hacía o para complementar las respuestas que me daban otros usuarios, como ocurrió recientemente (mientras escribía este post).
En mi metafórico trayecto en bicicleta, Kittygirl se unió a los demás para empujar mi bicicleta junto con Jizzyjoe, para que aprendiese a pedalear sin rueditas de aprendizaje

A mi me encanta escribir, es una de las cosas que me apasiona. Desde que comencé en HIVE he publicado cuentos que disfruté mucho escribiendo. Los publicaba en @literatos, una comunidad maravillosa que permite compartir tus escritos en habla hispana. Era muy gratificante cuando literatos votaba mi post y reblogueaba mi publicación, sentía que había gustado lo que había escrito y me animaba a seguir haciéndolo.

Algunos dejaron comentarios cuya lectura disfruté mucho, porque me animaban a seguir publicando; sin embargo, no lograba tantas recompensas como otros tipo de publicaciones de otros usuarios, pero aún así trataba de mantener la mente fija en mi blog, para concentrarme en seguir publicando cosas de calidad. Fue entonces cuando recibí por primera vez un voto de @cervantes, cortesía de @sancho.panza. Fue una grata sorpresa y me animó aún más a seguir publicando. Con ese voto de cervantes, obtuve más ganancias con mis cuentos y aumenté significativamente mi HP.
Por mi parte estoy muy agradecido con literatos por el buen recibimiento que tuve en esta comunidad y por sancho panza por tenerme en cuenta para su curación. En mi metafórico trayecto en bicicleta, ustedes serían como aquellos vecinos que saludan durante el recorrido y felicitan por aprender a pedalear solo.

No logré llegar a los 100 HP exactamente. No, con la publicación "Descubre mi país con fotografías" llegué a 95, aproximadamente; pero con la publicación de "Fin de semana de compras con mamá" llegué a poco más de 110 HP.
Cuando vi que había logrado superar esa meta, me sentí contento, pero siendo honesto, lo que más disfruté fue todo el trayecto. Aprendí mucho, conocí personas muy buenas e interesantes, hice amistades, formé vinculos y me involucré bastante con las comunidades, que es lo importante. En mi metafórico trayecto en bicicleta, llegar a esta meta sería como encontrarme con un grupo de amigos que también andaban en bicicleta, para seguir viajando con ellos, en grupo.
