At the Antofagasta fishing port there are sea lions that eat the fish that the fishermen throw away to the sea. At the same time the seagulls and other sea birds want their share of the fish. So there is a competition between them for the food. The photos that I show today captured this situation.

En el puerto pesquero de Antofagasta hay un grupo de leones marinos que se alimentan del pescado que los pescadores desechan y lanzan al mar. Al mismo tiempo las gaviotas y otras aves marítimas tratan de obtener una parte de este botín, por lo que se establece una competencia entre ellos por estos recursos alimenticios. Las fotos que muestro hoy capturan ese momento.

In the second image the relative slow shutter speed gives a nice effect on how the wings of the seagulls are shown on the picture.
En la segunda imagen, la velocidad del obturador relativamente baja, nos da un efecto interesante en las alas de las gaviotas.
