For 6 months I have been going to the Desert Botanical Garden regularly. Now I want to share pictures of pieces in Chihuly in the Desert that I have taken at different times of day, through different seasons and light.

Desert Fiori , 2021
Blown Glass
Desert Botanical Garden, Phoenix, Arizona
Desert Fiori means Desert flower. I spent a lot of time by this exhibit and most of the people that walked up to it commented on how it looks like birds or specifically like flamingos. I agree it does have a beautiful bird like feel.

Whether they are birds or flowers they are really incredible glass sculptures that I loved to look at over and over again. The contrast of the orange and blue, the curves of the glass, the placement within the desert landscape. I will really miss it.
