I am very excited about the Christmas atmosphere even to put Christmas decorations on the floor, sometimes we notice that that lower part of the refrigerator or the kitchen gets wet, for this reason we are going to place a beautiful Christmas mat using partly recycled materials

Materiales / Materials: ✂️

• Tela estampada con muñeco de nieve, retazo de tela roja, retazos de tela de lunares blanco con verde, retazo de de tela roja de lunares blancos, apliques de estampado navideño, para el forro utilicé sacos, hilos, tijera, silicón de barra.

- Fabric stamped with snowman, red fabric patch, white polka dot fabric patch with green, red fabric patch with white polka dot, Christmas print appliques, for the lining I used bags, threads, scissors, silicone rod.

Procedimiento / Process: ✂️⛄

• Cortar el tapete de la formato deseada, el de muñeco de nieve lo hice cuadrado

- Cut the mat to the desired format, I made the snowman square.

• El de lunares con apliques en forma ovalada.

- The one with polka dots with oval-shaped appliques.

• Cosí el forro, fijando toda la orillas.

- I sewed the lining, fixing all the edges.

• El tapete de lunares también le cosí las orillas.

- I also sewed the edges on the polka dot rug.

• Luego corté las aplicaciones y las fijé con unos puntos de silicón.

- Then I cut the applications and fixed them with some silicone dots.

• Alterné entre pegar los apliques con silicón y coserlos.

- I alternated between gluing the appliques with silicone and sewing them.

• Cosí la aplicación con el zig zag por todo el contorno.

- I sewed the application with the zig zag around the contour.

• Igualmente cosí el muñeco de nieve al otro tapete.

- I also sewed the snowman to the other mat.

• Luego corté los farales en tela de lunares y los cosí alrededor del tapete.

- Then I cut the farales in polka dot fabric and sewed them around the rug.

• Miren el resultado final del tapete de muñeco de nieve.
