Un nuevo reto empezó esta semana en la comunidad #hivediy poder participar es algo que me llena de emoción, el material estrella es el cartón, las artesanías que podemos hacer con el son infinitas, van desde simples marcos de fotos, hasta elaborados muebles, en mi caso decidí crear un repisa en forma de nube, el acabado es bastante minimalista solo tiene un toque de color aportado por un arcoíris, esta elaboración podemos colgarla en la pared y usarla para sostener o decorar nuestra habitación.

A new challenge started this week in the community #hivediy to participate is something that fills me with excitement, the star material is cardboard, the crafts we can do with it are endless, ranging from simple photo frames, to elaborate furniture, in my case I decided to create a shelf in the form of cloud, the finish is quite minimalist only has a touch of color provided by a rainbow, this elaboration can hang it on the wall and use it to hold or decorate our room.

El cartón es un material biodegradable, sin embargo la mejor forma de reducir la contaminación por este material es reciclando, si en tu país hay establecimientos dedicados al reciclaje debes cortar en pequeños pedazos este material y llevarlo, de no ser así puedes darle un nuevo uso creando artesanías.

Cardboard is a biodegradable material, the best way to reduce the pollution caused by this material is recycling, if in your country there are recycling establishments you should cut this material into small pieces and take it, otherwise you can give it a new use by creating handicrafts.

Silicón líquido.
Hojas de papel.
Foami blanco.

Paso a paso: || Step by step:

Primer paso: || First step:

▪️ Para crear esta repisa se deben crear primero las piezas de cartón, inicié por dibujar y recortar dos nubes con se especifica en la imagen.

To create this shelf you must first create the cardboard pieces, I started by drawing and cutting out two clouds as specified in the image.

Segundo paso: || Second step:

▪️ Luego tracé y recorté dos rectángulos.

I then traced and cut out two rectangles.

Tercer paso: || Third step:

▪️ Además tracé y recorté un semi círculo.

I also traced and cut out a half circle.

Cuarto paso: || Fourth step:

▪️ El cuarto paso consiste en unir ambas nubes.

The fourth step consists of joining both clouds.

Quinto paso: || Fifth step:

▪️ El paso anterior debe repetirse con los rectángulos, sin embargo entre ellos deben colocarse varios pares de palillos.

The previous step should be repeated with the rectangles, however, several pairs of toothpicks should be placed between them.

Sexto paso: || Sixth step:

▪️ Los palillos son un soporte para crear estabilidad entre los rectángulos y las nubes.

The sticks are a support to create stability between the rectangles and the clouds.

Séptimo paso: || Seventh step:

▪️ Ahora se debe crear un mejor acabado en los bordes, para ello pegué por todo el contorno tiras de hojas de papel.

Now it is necessary to create a better finish on the edges, so I glued strips of paper sheets all around the contour.

Octavo paso: || Eighth step:

▪️ Seguido de ellos perforé tres agujeros donde situaría los rectángulos.

Following them I drilled three holes where I would place the rectangles.

Noveno paso: || Ninth step:

▪️ Agregué silicón líquido e introduje los palilos se debe esperar a que seque el pegamento.

I added liquid silicone and inserted the sticks and waited for the glue to dry.

Décimo paso: || Tenth step:

▪️ Una vez seco el pegamento, pinté toda la estructura en color blanco.

Once the glue was dry, I painted the whole structure white.

Undécimo paso: || Eleventh step:

▪️ El semi círculo de cartón también lo pinté en color blanco y coloqué una tira de papel en el contorno, además de ello cree un arcoíris de foami (use pinturas al frío) las medidas usadas las tomé del semi círculo, uní el arcoíris al semi círculo y lo pegué en un extremo de la estructura.

I also painted the cardboard half circle in white and placed a strip of paper on the outline, in addition to that I created a foami rainbow (I used cold paints), the measurements used were taken from the half circle, I attached the rainbow to the half circle and glued it to one end of the structure.
